Leo Valdez MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Leo Valdez? Leo Valdez is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - so/sp - 749 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.

"Leo had never been the biggest or the strongest kid. He‘d survived in tough neighborhoods, tough schools, tough foster homes by using his wits. He was the class clown, the court jester, because he‘d learned early that if you cracked jokes and pretended you weren‘t scared, you usually didn‘t get beat up. Even the baddest gangster kids would tolerate you, keep you around for laughs. Plus, humor was a good way to hide the pain. And if that didn‘t work, there was always Plan B. Run away. Over and over." "His relatives wouldn‘t take him in. His Aunt Rosa called him a diablo and shouted at the social workers to take him away. So Leo went to his first foster home. A few days later, he ran away. Some foster homes lasted longer than others. He would joke around, make a few friends, pretend that nothing bothered him, but he always ended up running sooner or later. It was the only thing that made the pain better—feeling like he was moving, getting farther and farther away from the ashes of that machine shop." Type 7 poster boy. Very clearly an ENTP as well

Biography

The son of Hephaestus and mechanic Esperanza Valdez, Leo had a happy childhood with his mother until her death. Leo is wiry, funny, energetic, immature, and upbeat. He has a tendency to become infatuated with beautiful girls. However, he's also deeply insecure, stemming from his own past. He cracks jokes to not be overwhelmed by the negativity. Although most of the time his jokes are taken in stride, they can hurt the more sensitive like Frank and Nico, and part of Leo's growth is letting go of his past, maturing, and learning to fight alongside his teammates.
