Personality

What personality type is Sean "Sweet" Johnson? Sean "Sweet" Johnson is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w9 - so/sp - 163 in Enneagram, RLOEN in Big 5, LSE in Socionics.

Sweet's Ne is abysmal - insistence on buying the same car and model ("If it ain't broke, don't fix it"), not seeing the big picture and coming across as averse to trying out novel concepts or ideas (Big Smoke proposing him to venture into the drug trade, which Sweets shoots down without any hesitation). At times, because of this, he can come across as "close-minded" and "Boomer", He has pretty good Fi, unmistakably. Like how much he values his gang-banger lifestyle and the hood, deriving a great deal of identity from it. He cares about his homies a lot, even CJ, despite how harsh and blunt he can be towards him (especially in the beginning, due to all the resentment that he had at him for leaving/"abandoning" the Families), His Fi is very pronounced near the end when Caesar comes seeking for CJ's help (when the Vagos invade Aztecas' turf) appealing how much he had helped CJ throughout the game. CJ was at the moment, self-centered to reciprocate Caesar's request. It was Sweet who chews CJ's selfishness and tells him to not have any dues and pay it on time (along those lines), even if he isn't necessarily fond of Ceasar (for being his sister's BF, partly) and his gang... His reluctance to enter the drug biz too, in fact, can be argued with him relying on Fi than saying that he didn't use his Ne/bad Ne, really. As he feared the consequences and the erosion of hood values and honor such a move would bring. All of this combined can make him come across as a "traditionist" and "old-fashioned", scolding CJ and insisting that they both reclaim the hood as top priority, when he gets bailed from prison (Si-Te-Fi), since that's their home, even if at that point, CJ is a multi-millionaire entrepreneur who no longer has to go back to that old lifestyle to sustain for himself (and his family and friends) and if they abandoned Grove Street for good, they could still live comfortably without having to worry about their past catching up. It can be argued that while he's a good leader in the sense that he cares and values his homies dearly and is "principled", a big reason why the Families were lagging behind the rest in the beginning of the game's story, was arguably perhaps, his fault, primarily. In that he didn't change with the times, as he was too stubborn to do so, even not taking into consideration the drug biz and its moral consequences (without CJ's return, him and the families very well would had been extinct soon enough).
