[1/3] › 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 Recently I heard that social 8 and SLE Childe voters were exploding, so here I am to crucify that take in 1080p. I can most certainly see why people would think Childe is social 8 due to his agreeable behavior through constant usage of the words like comrade, it is important to not lose the basics of what makes an enneagram fixation flourish. In the first part of this argument, I will debunk social 8 whilst propping sexual 8 up more. Whilst the social 8 take is somewhat understandable, SLE is a much worse take, and the whole argument is quite literally because he can logically think. Not only that but the SLE argument contradicts the social 8 argument which will be covered in the second part of this argument, where SLE is further expanded on. › 𝗦𝗘𝗫𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝟴 The fundamental basis of enneagram types principally is essentially a multiplication. You take the instinct, be it sexual, social, or self-preservation, and multiply it by the core type, which is where the fixation is formed. By thinking Childe is a social 8, the individual would simultaneously be thinking that his primary instinct is social, in which there are many holes to be poked. The social instinct is characterized by the group; it is known as the adaptation instinct, which results in a self poison, an uncertainty of the individual due to such a strong accordance with the group. Its prime topics consist of propaganda, fame, justice, politics, intellectuality, superiority and inferiority, grossly antisocialness, the scene, the chic, socialites, and confusion of boundaries. These topics, as mentioned before, are chiefly determined through a multiplication with the core type. The social instinct multiplied by 8 core results in an extravagant hypocrisy of justice, a rebellious soldier of the group, a wolf in sheep's clothing, a “blood pact between brothers,” and someone who deludes themselves into thinking they are being protective of others. At the end of the day, absolutely none of this is Childe. The only argument you could make is him being protective of his brother, which is simply fallacious as the common person would like to keep their dear family out of harm's way. The argument for social 8 states that Childe masquerading as a “comrade” and using people like Zhongli and Childe hints toward the social instinct, which merely reflects a baseless understanding of the instinct. The things mentioned above are what the social instinct is about, and even if the social instinct was based on just the group, it would still be incoherent for Childe as the instinct being about the group would point to a neurosis with the group which rots the individual, which is far from Childe. Outside of all of this, Childe fits the sexual instinct to a tee. The sexual instinct is characterized by interactions with individuals; a vibration to others resulting in a display of a peacock, a crime of passion, an explosion of individual intensity, emotional thrill, a metaphysical or physical libido, playfulness, intimacy, exploitation for affirmation, and the syntony of the world. These topics, as mentioned before, are chiefly determined through a multiplication with the core type. The sexual instinct multiplied by 8 core results in a strong passion of rebellion, a need for full force, possession, an issue with limits, a stylistic power constructed through fascination, a dominance of control to hide weakness, and a voracious antisocialism, There are many arguments that can be based for Childe sexual 8 on the information above, which was sourced through Naranjo and other enneagram authors alike.
