What personality type is Kamisato Ayato? Kamisato Ayato is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sp/so - 315 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.
Does anyone else find it funny that every time a new Genshin character comes out they get typed as an INTJ? I also find it funny how Fe was considered for him too just because he is a noble figure who cares about his environment. In any case this argument on contrary to my other ones will be a lot more concise due to the general lack of concrete information we have on Ayato. Nevertheless, the verdict of ENTJ is quite clear. › “Instead of trying to find out what could have caused it, it is better to look at the situation itself.” Ni dominants according to Jung are always focused on seeing new possibilities behind what the concrete situation is itself. Compare Ayato to an actual Ni dom like Ei who’s constantly focused on her very subjective perception of the world through eternity, what the vision of Inazuma means to her personally outside of the concrete objective situation. Ayato for one is always focused on systemized conceptions of an organized reality, which certainly shows a Te > Ni preference. So far, the Ni lenience is mainly derived from him being naturally planning but people forget that planning and reasoning fits more into the rational dichotomy (judging functions in MBTI) than the irrational dichotomy (perceiving functions in MBTI). The extraverted thinkers are most compatible when focused on the outward sphere of influence in a business type manner, often making use of their authorities and knowledge to convict anything deemed as morbid or mischievous, rulings things out that go against the individuals personal conduct which is deemed at utmost objectivity. Doing these things are essentially what his whole entire character is about, at least until we get more information. Ayato is constantly focused on reprimanding corrupt business officials and focusing on stabilizing the Kamisato Clan. I really wish I could add on more to this however at the moment this is quite literally all he is. Edit: On an additional note as I’ve seen more things that have scarred me for life in newer comments, I’d like to point that patriotism to a clan does NOT point to Fi (as anyone can have emotions), and being a good person about someone in trouble because it violates your morals is not Fi either. Te is by definition a very moralistic function, as it’s constantly judging the world through a spectrum of goods and bad as this often comes systematically to them. Think of all the raging ENTJ 1/3’s rambling about justice, etc. If Ayato is a Fi tert so is Light Yagami. On a side note, I don’t believe just because he has strong morals against those he deems corrupt makes him a 1 core. I find that PDB often types people 1 core who have a certain aura of dignification (ex: Megumi Fushiguro, Giyuu Tomioka, even Ei at one point, etc) which simply ignores the key components of the core type itself. Now I present to you, SP3 Ayato. In contrary to the average 3 who is deceitful and extravagantly image orientated, the countertype of SP3 lies, where anti-vanity is embodied. The SP3’s dream is to be a competent person; they exhibit a sense of modesty and determination which makes them come off as a family man. They are extremely virtuous on the fact of self-competency, and love being a reference person to anyone who needs help and have a strong banishment for what they see as error. Ayato’s whole character is essentially trying to be the family man to common people, just everyone in general whilst staying in the shadows which is very akin to SP3. Him honing talents to have succession at a young age certainly shows the value he places on becoming a competent person, and one who strives for self-sufficiency. There is a strong value of practicality that Ayato has that is really only known in 3’s.

Kamisato Ayato (Japanese: 神里綾人) is a playable Hydro character in Genshin Impact. Older brother of Ayaka and current head of the Yashiro Commission, the Kamisato Clan, and the Shuumatsuban, Inazuma's intelligence agency. Whereas Ayaka is the public face of the family, Ayato is often behind the scenes handling government affairs and is in turn hardly seen in public, but from what little is known of him, he is a master of swordplay, literal and verbal alike.
