ISFP supporters: where is his se? why can NONE of you explain his supposed "auxiliary se" without resorting to blatant stereotypes & misinformation? oh, wait - i know why: because he doesn't have auxiliary se. it's honestly that simple. with all the information we've been given of scaramouche, there is not a SINGLE instance of legitimate high se usage. even as wanderer, he's outrageously ni-te & still fails to show remotely any genuine se - he had an ENTIRE interlude archon quest dedicated to being forced to FINALLY acknowledge & legitimately use his fi, & yet he still never uses it in favor of te nor does he ever use se to specifically support fi. ──────────────────────── ✷ 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙄𝙎 𝙉𝙄? ni is collectively misunderstood as some kind of "psychic, magical, futuristic" function when it fundamentally encompasses NONE of those aspects. it's literally a perceiving function. that's it. it exists to perceive information, & uses a HIGHLY subjective method; two INXJs can look wildly different because of how subjective introverted functions are. 🝔 "For the relation of inner objects to consciousness is entirely analogous to that of outer objects, although theirs is a psychological and not a physical reality. Inner objects appear to the intuitive perception as subjective images of things, which, though not met with in external experience, really determine the contents of the unconscious, i.e. the collective unconscious, in the last resort. [...] Although this intuition may receive its impetus from outer objects, it is never arrested by the external possibilities, but stays with that factor which the outer object releases within." all introverted functions technically extricate themselves from the external objects; for them, the object only exists to allow them to create/discover something subjective to withdraw into. 🝔 "The peculiar nature of introverted intuition, when given the priority, also produces a peculiar type of man, viz. the mystical dreamer and seer on the one hand, or the fantastical crank and artist on the other. The latter might be regarded as the normal case, since there is a general tendency of this type to confine himself to the perceptive character of intuition. [...] But the crank contents himself with the intuition by which he himself is shaped and determined. Intensification of intuition naturally often results in an extraordinary aloofness of the individual from tangible reality; he may even become a complete enigma to his own immediate circle." 🝔 "In this way, the consciousness of his own bodily existence fades from the introverted intuitive’s view, as does its effect upon others. The extraverted standpoint would say of him: ‘Reality has no existence for him; he gives himself up to fruitless phantasies’. A perception of the unconscious images, produced in such inexhaustible abundance by the creative energy of life, is of course fruitless from the standpoint of immediate utility." one massive misconception about ni is that placing it in the dominant position somehow makes the user incapable of actually interacting with their surroundings... that's horrifically false. ni is COGNITIVELY dissociated from reality, because it fundamentally perceives & creates it's own form of reality from what it sees. but just as i mentioned before, ni BEGINS with the object & then extricates itself from it. INXJs struggle with perceiving their surroundings via concrete realism due to the suppression of se - but it does NOT make them incapable of noticing their surroundings or interacting with them. all it means is that they notice their surroundings within the context of their ni & whatever subjective interpretation they take from it. reality is simply whatever they make of it. 🝔 "The moral problem comes into being when the intuitive tries to relate himself to his vision, when he is no longer satisfied with mere perception and its æsthetic shaping and estimation, but confronts the question: What does this mean for me and for the world? What emerges from this vision in the way of a duty or task, either for me or for the world?"

Biography

The Wanderer is a playable Anemo character in Genshin Impact. The former sixth-ranking Harbinger of the Fatui. Originally the first in a line of divine puppets created by Ei, the Electro Archon, to hold the Electro Gnosis and rule Inazuma in her place, a series of tragedies drove him insane and instilled in him a burning hatred against humanity and gods alike. Upon the invitation of Pierro, first-ranking of the Harbingers, he joined the Fatui where, as Scaramouche, he would quickly rise up its ranks, eventually returning twice to Inazuma to wreak havoc and eventually steal the Electro Gnosis, before being recruited by Dottore, the second-ranking Harbinger, to become Sumeru's new God of Wisdom. After being defeated by the joint efforts of the Traveler and Nahida/Kusanali, the latter nevertheless took him under her care, eventually revealing to him that his descent to madness was orchestrated by Dottore. Broken with despair upon realizing that his whole life was built upon lies, he tried to erase himself from existence, though his body survived, albeit amnesiac; with the Traveler and Nahida's help, the Wanderer, as Scaramouche has become known since, regains his past memories and now strives to—in his own, vitriolic way—atone for his sins, both by helping the two from the shadows as well as cutting his ties with the Fatui and swearing vengeance on them, Dottore in particular.
