the inferior Fe is pretty strong with conrad. he constantly feels like he’s ‘saying the wrong thing’ to everyone bc he isn’t able to read social cues around him, and struggles to understand other people’s emotions, especially belly’s. “belly, i think about you. you know i do. but i can’t” doesn’t sound like something an Fi dominant would say, does it? “I feel like if i maybe just keep it all inside, maybe that’s what keeps her alive” is like fucked up Ti logic conrad uses in order to deal with the truth of his mom’s diagnosis. people are probably voting him ISFP because of this line: “the whole deb scene is for sheep” yet this belief of his doesn’t stop him from dating a former deb, dancing with belly at the ball, and even taking a girl to the previous year’s ball. clearly his views on this aren’t strong at all, which doesn’t exactly align with dominant Fi. this is just my analysis after rewatching the show. let me know if i’ve missed something though.
Biography
Conrad is a very stoic and serious guy, who is lauded by everyone around him, notably his dad who openly prefers him to Jeremiah. He is the object of Belly's affection since they were little, but realizes he returns her feelings the summer before he is off to college. Conrad learns about his mother's illness and his father's affair simultaneously and keeps it to himself, while pushing everyone around him away.
