IS(F) MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is IS(F)? IS(F) is an ISFJ personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - sx/so - 946 in Enneagram, RCUAN in Big 5, SEI in Socionics.

The ISFJ vs ISFP controversy is resolved by distinguishing Big5 from 4 letters, based on cognitive functions. ISFJ RCUAI best fits IS(F). Stop voting for ISFP on the basis that they're more "P". J/P typing is a Big5 thing more. ‘Unstructured ISFJ’ best fits for IS(F). Do not forget that IS(F) is ‘Introverted Sensation type with Feeling as an auxiliary function’. They're Si-dom, not Fi-dom, and there's no Se anywhere. Se is about perceiving objects without further processing, not the same as being disorganized or impulsive. Their sensations are subjective, obviously Si>Se. Do not use Si/Se stereotypes. Irrational types are P-dom, not xxxP. ISFP is J-dom, a rational type. ISFJ is P-dom, an irrational type. Do not confuse J-dom/P-dom and J/P. “Their SiFi can support work of art that seems surreal and original, in fact at all costs the IS(F) wants to expose something that validates their inner expression wanting to show that they have bizarre taste and aren't afraid to hold unconventional values” “Their intense push for originality makes them take drastic action whenever their New ideas seem to be outdome by someone else leading to frustation and scorn.” Clearly Inquisitive. Non-curious votes don't make sense. SJ stereotypes are actually just xxOxN in Big5. IS(F) is xxUxI based on Big5 dichotomy and move away from that stereotype, but it doesn't make sense to say they're not Si-dom based on that. They're clearly Si-dom, and what if they are not? Nothing. They're obviously Si-dom.

Biography

Here we find, for example, artists who are extremely problematical, or architects and interior decorators who turn out “living machines” in which it is absolutely impossible to live or chairs on which one cannot sit. One of the artists who managed to give successful expression to this mixture of introverted sensation and feeling was van Gogh, for example. Generally, however, this type expresses itself through somewhat bizarre taste, which purports to be original but is in fact original at all costs. The explanation for this is that the subjective factor is loftily raised to the level of universal validity. Of course such people come across as stubborn and as upholders of unconventional values, and this is in fact a form of clandestine opposition or protest. Source: "Personality" by Carl Alfred Meier
