my friend who knows nothing about typology made an analysis about akane vs aqua's method acting, and it made me think about their functions just a little, considering they're the INFJ and INTJ duo of the series. friend: "but it's neat though, because text interpretation acting is only a degree seperated from akane's method (just when you're not as crazy as akane)" me: "what's the difference !!!" friend: "because both have similar roots of understanding as much as you can about a text or character, the only real difference is paying attention to the outcome vs paying attention to how it feels and changes you internally" friend: "even then that's not really true because both do have some overlap on those fronts, and really if I were to describe the difference between akane and aqua in acting it's that aqua for the most part is still thinking about everything like aqua, akane on the other hand is thinking about everything like whatever character she's playing" friend: "'this is what I can do to do what this person would do' vs 'this is what I as this person would do'" the moment he said that last thing, my mind went straight to typology, and it was especially what made me realize how their middle feeling functions paired with their ni differ.
