Takashi Mitsuya MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Takashi Mitsuya? Takashi Mitsuya is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sx/sp - 621 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.

I'm a novice to typology so I'm open to an criticism for my argument. I think he's an INFJ. The top comments have arguments as to why he's an Fe user but there are not many arguments defending Ni or why he's typed as an INFJ instead of ISFJ/ISTJ/ISFP. Manga spoilers ahead!! For Ni: Before he commits to a decision, or if he's contemplating an uncertainty, he likes reason. Ni users usually get random hunches because of the whole "jumping to conclusions" thing, and Mitsuya has demonstrated this before! In the manga, chapter 84, Mitsuya wanted to reason with Hakkai's older brother before sending Hakkai away to the Black Dragons. His way of reasoning came off as natural to me. He proposed a deal to Hakkai's older brother: That he'd had to let Yuzuha, Hakkai's older sister, go if Hakkai joins the Black Dragons. Mitsuya assumed that the older brother is violent towards Yuzuha, which was his conclusion, and THEN he explained that he thought this way because of the older brother's constant showing of domestic violence. And this is what Ni users do: they unconsciously come to a conclusion and then try to find their reasoning for it. I don't think Hakkai or Yuzuha ever told him about their home life or how the older brother abused his sister. Mitsuya has grasped the patterns of Hakkai's behaviors and was able to conclude that Hakkai didn't want to leave Toman because he was scared of his older brother, but because Hakkai was trying to protect his sister, Yuzuha. Whether those hunches are correct or not doesn't matter. Ni is quite the private function so it's hard to spot an Ni user right away. Mitsuya didn't appear much in the anime so far, nor in the beginning of the manga, so I don't have evidence of his Ni use before that time. So, I am open to any arguments arguing why it is not possible for him to be an Ni dom. For Se: Not quite sure what Mikey meant by this, but he kept repeating something about "Mitsuya's impulses" and Mitsuya is the type of person that will be able to control his impulses, unlike, say, an Se dom/aux. I can then rule out the possibility of him being an ISFP. But I still mean that he has Se!! Not at the dominant or auxiliary level, but as a tertiary or inferior function. Someone with Ni has to have Se, so, he may act on the impulses he gets about something/someone. Also, Se users love self-expression, so they MAY express themselves using clothing. Mitsuya cares a lot about his outer appearance, so I think there's a strong possibility of Se. And if he has Se, he cannot have Si. An Ni user will get a big picture view and then zoom into the details, while an Si user will notice the details of a context, and then zoom out to see the big picture. I feel as though he is the type of person to understand the main idea but take time to notice the details. Like the incident on Christmas Eve, where Chifuyu called Mitsuya for help. Mitsuya grasped the main idea of what was going on but did not consider the details. Mitsuya was then in battle against the older brother (I keep forgetting his name), but then they realized they were outnumbered. Chifuyu thought Mitsuya called Mikey beforehand just in case but Mitsuya didn't, since he didn't think it through that far. Also, because he enjoys routine does not always mean he is an Si user. This is a stereotype that does not identify someone's cognitive functions. I don't think I need to necessarily argue for Fe because everyone came to an agreement that his Fe is obvious. He always finds a way to understand people, even those different from him. He also did not need to butt in into Hakkai's family situation, but he did because he cared too much. Even if that meant that his life was at stake. For Fe: He gets upset when Hakkai doesn't listen to his advice with the "only use violence to protect" saying. An Fi or Ti dom/aux wouldn't mind as much if someone does whatever they want, but a Te or Fe dom/aux would want people to do things their way for whatever reason. Not always the case, but just putting it out there. Sometimes I can't help but compare Armin (Attack on Titan) & Mitsuya. At a glance, it may not seem like they share much commonalities, but if you study closely, it is safe to say that they share the same personality. Both of them are people who value community beliefs over their own, and they both have the habit of jumping to conclusions naturally, sometimes without putting much thought into it. It is easier to read Armin since his thought process is exposed to us. Mitsuya's isn't, so we have to read him based on his habits and how he makes decisions. I apologize for any grammar errors, and thank you if you read this far.
