Izuku Midoriya “Deku” MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Izuku Midoriya “Deku”? Izuku Midoriya “Deku” is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sp/so - 692 in Enneagram, RLOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
Deku has displayed a constant notion development since he was a kid, trying to build a web of knowledge and only then grasping some subjects. As opposite to INFPs who have Ne, and would be better at understanding a concept by... In a more physical way feeding themselves with info. If we go into the field of study techniques this may sound silly, but it's not really connected to that at all. While an INFJ can weave something they understood before and see how it has to do with something else they study, suffering when they are missing that piece of knowledge. INFPs can read about something and just understand how that particular concept works, and they might not even do introspection as to which other topics are related to this one. Since the beginning of the anime Deku has been slower than others, but as he develops he has become increasingly quick in learning and getting even deeper in some fields. Deku has also always seen values as something inherent to reality and other people, while Fi characters like Bakugo determine how important something is, depending on their perception on it. Yeah, Deku says "I think like this and I will act accordingly", but while he says that because he feels like he has actually seen people care about it, someone like Bakugo would say it because he personally feels like it is more relevant (although this is a tricky example since Bakugo has Te and both types can sometimes disguise their Fe as Te and viceversa). Deku's Ti is obvious, it is what makes him think of society realities as realities, Ti works with Ni to develop lasting knowledge and just as galvanized square steel would do, put it all together and giving it a sense and logic. Deku sees everything in the eyes of being a superpower and rescuing people so his vast knowledge about the field makes it so Ti guides him to turn everything he learn into that field. Te as a function is really different, rather than putting the subject on top and thus prioritizing what it know, Te thinks of achievements or trophies that are just more relevant, since it's INFPs inf function, they struggle sometimes with pursuing money, careers, "objective success". INFJ struggles here too because they have Te blind spot. The thing is to INFP this may come out in an unhealthy way as jealousy, while to INFJ it may come out as rash actions that affect society in a wide scale. Si is most often than not used to not put the subject in situations that would be physically unpleasant for them or put them in an uncomfortable situation, which is why it prioritizes conservative values and family often. INFPs are often called cry babies and that's certainly an exaggeration, but it does come from their FiSi combo, stressful situations makes them feel particularly annoyed, they would rather seek familiar peaceful situations. INFJs on the other side are a bit reckless. They really struggle with physical things, be it their self image or who they actually are when it comes to the present. They sometimes may lose track of their own wellbeing and risk death or sickness. They may even give the middle finger to their body as a whole and value concepts and notions above everything else, living and dying for the purpose. Deku, a guy that has several times broke his arm thinking only about his goals and nothing else. That has barely any familiar ties and ponders more about his idols and not so much about the friends he haven't seen in a while, and that puts everyone at his own level and values himself only when he realizes he is worth something for others, is most definitely INFJ.
