What personality type is Mu Kusunoki? Mu Kusunoki is an ESFJ personality type in MBTI, 2w3 - sp/sx - 269 in Enneagram, SLUEN in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
INFP 4 for Mu regarding the recent Trial 2 preview is simply absurd now. I’ve found it weird before, but my suspicions were confirmed the moment Trial 2’s MV previewed Mu’s entitlement towards the entire situation. Thus, I will argue for ESFJ and SP2. SP2 > SO4 If there’s anything Mu is, it’s SP2. From the start, Mu never showed any signs of the vice of envy nor did she show any behavioral traits of E4 outside of “I’m the victim.” Mu’s approach to her murder and the way she acts overall is not like the behavior of the E4 at all, and is instead like that of the prideful, anti-intellectually emotional, hedonistic E2. More specifically, the childish subtype of E2 who believes that they should be loved for being who they are, SP2. The entitled nature of SP2 fits Mu perfectly. As a precursor before I start giving examples of SP2, SP2 is characterized by infantile egocentrism that deems themselves important without the need to showcase anything. They simply believe they must be loved because of who they are. Already this is starting to sound like Mu, but I will point out lines in her audio drama with Es on why she is E2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLiXuICKzio&t=440s (audio drama) Mu’s entitlement comes rather early with the line, “I’m sure that my mom and dad are worried about me!” Unlike many of the others who wonder why they are there or try to figure out some way of escaping, Mu demands to be released for having done “nothing wrong.” Her luxurious lifestyle causes disdain towards her current circumstances. “Killer? Why would you say such a horrible thing? I’m not the bad one here!...but, they’re to blame! They made it to the point where I had to kill them…if I didn’t, I wouldn’t have been able to escape. The cruel things they did to me were far worse!...Are you saying I should’ve continued suffering forever?” Mu’s stance on her own murder from the start has been the fact she wasn’t in the wrong, and that her actions were absolutely necessary. She deflects any blame from herself and throws it to those who bullied her. The E4 response to it would’ve probably been the fact it was deserved, and the murder they committed is entirely their fault, and that they suffer from it. The E4 plays into their suffering and mistakes as a way to be loved and pitied, but Mu does the exact opposite by saying none of the ordeal was her fault. “Penal servitude? I don’t wanna do something like that! I don’t wanna!..Even though I’m not the one in the wrong, they want to sentence me to penal servitude…that’s so messed up.” Not only does Mu once more deflect responsibility, she refuses the idea of having to do penal servitude for killing someone, her fault or not. Once more, Mu’s entitled lifestyle has led to the perception for Mu that she shouldn’t be treated in such a way for something she thinks isn’t wrong. “What should I do then? What should I do in order for you to forgive me, prison guard? I’ll do anything! Um…Anything painful or embarrassing is out of the question though…And I don’t wanna do anything scary either…But it’s true, isn’t it? All I have to do is gain your favor, right? I’ll listen to what you say! So what would you like me to do?” Mu does not mind doing whatever it takes to get into Es’ favor, but at the same time she states she is unwilling to do anything painful, embarrassing, or scary. Trying to avoid anything of that nature while also saying she’d do anything for Es is clear SP2. “You’re so cruel…I…even though I was just worried about you…I can’t take it anymore! I hate you, prison guard!” After Mu points out Es’ odd behavior, and Es starts to hyperventilate and pushes Mu away, Mu takes extreme offense to this and does a complete 180 in what she said she was going to do. Her emotions are bold and audacious, and in no way like the intellectual and deeply felt emotions of the E4. She believes and feels whatever she feels and lets it be known. “If I see anything odd about your judgment, I won’t forgive you. Got that?” At the very end of the audio drama, Mu basically threatens Es with the fact that if Es judges poorly, Mu won’t forgive Es as if that means something to Es. Es takes it as an insult to his judging abilities, but the fact Mu believed that saying something like that would come across threateningly showcases the depth of Mu’s entitlement. It goes without saying that the preview of Mu's Trial 2 MV with her repeating the fact it wasn't her fault and we should devote more to her is just more evidence of SP2. (1/2)
