What personality type is Beck Oliver? Beck Oliver is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/so - 962 in Enneagram, RCOAN in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
I think Beck is a Sp/so 9w8. I mean, there's no doubt he's NOT a Sp 9. Sp 9s are often more outspoken and assertive, but still repress their emotions like all 9s. Beck is very outspoken and will speak his mind off and do what feels right for him, if I see him walk in a room or be inside. Sp 9s also try to find themselves comfortable in areas when it comes to what they want, through physical comfort and activities in their routine. Therefore, yes, Sp 9 describes him pretty accurately. For him being a Social instinct as the secondary, Beck often tries to remain cool when it comes to a full group. He tries to calm himself there and is often the one who can try and deal + calm everyone down. The social instinct considers and thinks how the group is about it, and Beck often tries to remain cool with everyone and brings the peace. Sometimes he wants to provide and help those around him in a group and consider them. Sp/so 9 together may not be as assertive when theses instincts are combined. However in general, his Sp instinct is very strong, making him like that. When it comes to someone close to him, he is freely expressive and talkative with them, which is common in Sp/so 9w8s. His w8 allows him to put himself in negative drama, and which may be why I've always thought that he was very outspoken. However, I see him as someone who also tries and repress his anger and inner emotions, and instead, gives advice respectfully and without trying to put his feelings out and immediately aggressively. I know for sure he doesn't seem like a 1 core, because Sp 1 doesn't make sense, neither does a Social 1, he doesn't seem to be focusing on everyone's perfectionism and the whole group. (I'm still trying to use the instinctual variants, so my apologies if I had any errors) At the same time, I think 9 core makes sense. Beck does not like conflict or fighting and enjoys it when things are brought together calmly, without any drama or chaos. Along with that, he is very relaxed, calm, accepting, and harmony-oriented. Beck often represses his emotions, until he really knows it is best to let these out and be honest about something. For example, he tends to be very honest about what he thinks with his relationship with Jade, and then when he was no longer to admit he was unhappy about their time together, he throws his anger and frustration out loud at SInjin's game tryout. His reason for saying he did not want to be with Jade was also along with the fact their friends didn't enjoy them yelling at each other and fighting. At the same time, Beck accepts everyone to who they are and tries to keep the harmony and peace together between him and Jade, but also towards the group at some occasions. I think he’s a 2 fix, because of his rather people-pleasing and generous personality, like how he’s fine with driving all those girls that show up to his house asking him for rides to school Ig, but that’s the only evidence I recall popping to my mind :3

Beck Oliver is one of the eight main characters of Victorious (Portrayed by #AvanJogia). He is Jade West's boyfriend and seems to be the leader of the gang. Because of his talents and good-looks and particularly his fluffy hair, he is very popular with girls (as well as young adult women). He also seems to be very calm, wise, and mature at most times. His talent is acting and can be described as a pretty boy.
