What personality type is Augustus Gloop? Augustus Gloop is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - sp/sx - 793 in Enneagram, SLUEN in Big 5, SEI in Socionics.
Well, since his character doesn't seem to be that easy to describe using words as he speaks comparably less than the other characters do, i will try to write down the way his mind works: Se Dom: The only thing he thinks about is eating chocolate and meat, just for the sake of experiencing their taste. Just look at the smiling expression on his face: he is simply amazed when he has something to devour. Fi Aux: At times he can be really sensitive and only care for his own gain and the things he likes, disregarding whatever do the others tell him or suggest him. Te Tert: He does not really like to share his property, which is easily portrayed when he thinks about giving Charlie a piece of his chocolate but later changes his mind because Charlie wasn't the one who bought the chocolate. This greediness can as well make him act very blunt during some points. Ni Inf: He does not think much about the consequences of his diet, as he mostly wants to seek pleasure in the present moment. He is insatiable and this clouds his vision of his future self. 7w6: He never gets fed up with trying out the same food multiple times, because every other time he will be able to mentally process it in a different way. This makes him sort of both open to new experiences and selectively limiting at the same time. Whenever you have to go to the kitchen during nighttime in order to feed yourself, make sure you cover your chocolate very well (if there is any), otherwise you may summon him and he might jumpscare you if you look out of the window.
Biography
Augustus Gloop is an obese, greedy, gluttonous 9-year-old boy, the first person to find a Golden Ticket and one of the four main antagonists of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Much more aggressive, particularly towards Charlie, than in other adaptations. He offers him a bite of his chocolate bar, then cruelly says "then you should have brought some!"
