Personality

What personality type is Diego Hernández? Diego Hernández is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - - 738 in Enneagram, SCUEN in Big 5, SEE in Socionics.

SX8: “In childhood, many of these Eights experienced disrespect and a lack of affection and attention from one or both parents, so they decided (consciously or unconsciously) not to recognize maternal or paternal authority. This first rebellion against authority became the template for their strong rebellious tendencies. The name given to the Sexual Eight is “Possession,” which refers to a kind of charismatic taking over (or dominance) of the whole environment—an energetic capture of people’s attention. These Eights display the idea of “Possession” in that they can take over a whole scene energetically, becoming the center of things. Sexual Eights like to feel their power by possessing everyone’s attention. They express the idea that “the world begins to run when they arrive.” They’re provocative and proud of their tendency to deviate from the norm and do whatever they want to meet their worldly needs. In the given moment, they can confuse their instinctual reactivity with emotional authenticity. It’s not that they do not feel authentically, however; they feel at full force, but they tend to want to possess others with what they are feeling.” Diego quite literally never questions anything he does until in later episodes. He comes rushing into everyone’s life (and houses, as if there are no limitations), and doesn’t concern himself with social norms, one’s right to their personal space or anything of the sort. He’s charismatic, energetic and sexually conquering (as much as one lets him, in a show aimed at kids). This comes from a deficiency of affection in his childhood due to the abandonment of his dad, which he is repulsive of, but at the same time he thinks he has a right to know who he is, and takes this lack of affection out on others as vengeance. “Couldn’t that also be a SX4?” SX4s are motivated by feelings of incompetence and envy, immediately pointing out what they lack, while also feeling enrichment in the manifestation of their emotions, dwelling in their pain and projecting it out on others. Diego is not a character who dwells and then acts, it’s a character who acts because he doesn’t dwell, and is a personality with an intense confidence that is almost overwhelming to every person who is around him.
