What personality type is Robert Kiyosaki? Robert Kiyosaki is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, 3w2 - so/sp - 378 in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, LSE in Socionics.
Textbook ESTP 3w2 so/sp/sx. Se: Clearly an energetic entrepreneur who can spontaneously dream up money-making schemes (sp 3). Ti: Has a rather mercenary, quid pro quo approach to friendships and life in general. Kiyosaki's idea of friendship seems to be that he'll be somebody's 'friend' if it's personally expedient (like allegedly receiving inside stock information - also see social 3). Apparently also can come across as somewhat arrogant or egotistical (unhealthy Ti aux). Fe: Can be charming. Can also be very manipulative like any good social 3/tert-Fe user, in that through his effective presentation skills and politicking he manipulates his audience into thinking that he's on their side, namely by taking both sides of an argument. He's therefore obviously not given to categorical, black/white judgements like a Te-user. Ni: Enterprising and street-smart, but not bookish or theoretical - was a poor student and is generally disdainful of academia. Seems to measure his life by superficial markers of success like money and material goods. Has struggled to foresee the consequences of his actions and so has repeated mistakes, namely by starting dead-end business ventures. Seems to lack much in the way of morals or personal values, so I'd say PoLR-Fi. Likely has 8w7 in his tritype rather than 7w6. He resembles an ExTJ much more than he does an ESFP, and clearly values leading a group and exerting energy (allegedly why he became an officer in the US Marines) while forging his own path. Also enterprising, egocentric and materialistic. However, I think he is more interested in preserving his image and reputation (3) than obtaining power (8) in general, while he doesn't seem inclined to use verbal/physical force to defend his interests. IMO he lacks the theoretical, intellectual bent of an ENTP, as he values action above all else.

Robert Toru Kiyosaki (清崎 徹 Kiyosaki Tooru, born April 8, 1947) is an American businessman and author. Kiyosaki is the founder of Rich Global LLC and the Rich Dad Company, a private financial education company that provides personal finance and business education to people through books and videos. The company's main revenues come from franchisees of the Rich Dad seminars that are conducted by independent people using Kiyosaki's brand name for a fee. He is also the creator of the Cashflow board and software games to educate adults and children about business and financial concepts. Kiyosaki operates through a number of companies that he owns fully or in part, and through franchisee arrangements with other companies authorized to use his name for a fee.
