What personality type is Phil? Phil is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - so/sp - 729 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
Considering how it was Phil who found the morse code on the books by William Minerva, I like to think that it was an Ne-Ti process. Through this reasoning ENTP makes sense, since Ray and Emma (Ni/Se users) weren't able to find it. Phil was also able to understand the plan to leave the younger kids behind and come back for them later which kinda looks like Ne-Fe. He's also a very curious and intelligent kid; always sneaking around and checking up on people like when Emma is sad after Norman was "adopted", and when sister Krone was trying to look under the beds, which also can correspond to tert Fe. He just puts on a :3 face and acts dumber/more carefree than he actually is. EDIT: Inf Si: ~SPOILERS~ I was reading and spoiling some of the manga for myself and it seems that Phil was stuck in a Si grip back at the farm because he was looking at the other children and thinking to himself "is this how Ray felt all the time." As in he couldn't tell them that they were just being raised to be eaten, and him knowing the truth, couldn't really do anything about it since he was waiting for Emma to return to save them so he just had to watch it happen like Ray did. I would say he's a genius like Norman, kind and loving like Emma, and able to keep secrets like Ray. He has all their best traits wrapped up into one.
Biography
Phil (フィル, Firu?) is a 4-year-old orphan who formerly resided in the Grace Field House. Phil is close friends with Sherry, who he is often seen around with, and Emma, who he greatly looks up to. Phil is, despite his young age, extremely observant and intelligent. He figured out something was off about the orphanage, and as so, he is asked by Emma to lead all the children four years and younger to stay back in the orphanage while all the children five and above make their escape
