What personality type is Black Reaper Kaneki? Black Reaper Kaneki is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w9 - sp/so - 854 in Enneagram, RLOEI in Big 5, ILI in Socionics.
Clearly an INTJ due to his introverted intuition dom and his auxiliary extroverted thinking. His brute honesty and rationality is obvious. He uses his actions to support the ones he cares for in a very subjective way like a Fi user instead of demonstrating them through Fe. Please keep in mind that Black Reaper is a different person than Kaneki(in every form), as the hallucinated visualization later suggests that every version of Kaneki is viewed as an individual with different views and approaches towards things, and this one is an INTJ 8w9(854). Alternatively, instead of attempting to help and empathize, his ways of expressing care involves objective methodical ways, correlating with his aux Te. However if you look at Kaneki, he does not have the time perception of Ni(socio) or even Te. He runs based on solid logic structures and rules which is a lot more Ti(socio) rather than Te. Additionally, as a VLEF, he is very straightforward and action oriented, which correlates with Se(socionics). The primary of Kaneki in this case is not to plan and ponder, the primary desire of him right now is his desire to act, find a cause, and delete it. As a result, LSI makes a lot more sense in comparison to ILI. (ex. Batman is a LSI), ILIs can live without completing tasks or making real life impacts as long as they have results and observations from their head, but Kaneki cannot, he lives for his tasks as an inspector, and he dedicates all his time and effort into doing it.
