It's Si reductionism vs Ni holism that @[pathmor] has brought up on other MHA profiles too. More evidence for Ne/Si over Se/Ni, courtesy of @[pyramidserum]: • "Se/Ni is moreso directly influenced by current circumstances to change the trajectory of their envisioned outcome. Ni is malleable which is why it is intuitive; Si is static which is why it is sensory. they’re both internal systems of perception but one is fluid and changes all throughout in response to a new point of information/perception (Se/Ni). • New Ne ideas infiltrate Si much less thoroughly than the way Se infiltrates Ni, which makes Si more stationary than Ni. but Si on its own doesn’t have the capability to connect disparate ideas—that’s Ne’s doing which it then stores back into Si as a static point of data. • Se/Ni is the opposite in that the static points of data are external—present and observable, which then get internalized by Ni and stripped of their staticness, which typically involves forgetting specific details in favor of the takeaway concept or image (turning instances of reality into a broader concept) that can be connected to other concepts to form something greater than the sum of its parts; an overarching theme. >> Se/Ni perceives static information externally, abstraction and connections internally >> Ne/Si perceives abstraction and connections externally, static information internally • In fact, many Se/Ni types don’t plan as much as Ne/Si users do because with Ni one of their earliest thematic perceptions is that anything can change at any time. so by just “seeing what happens” they are leaving Ni open to being changed by Se so that they can get enough static external information to work with to make a plan. however long this takes depends on the person and situation. Ni users dont tend to plan their future in excessive detail, they leave their goals just vague enough to accomodate for things that could deviate from precise details because their static precise detail function is external." This last paragraph in particular sounds uncannily like Bakugo and Juzo, and particularly unlike Setsuna. But, if you have moments from their fight that seem to contradict this, feel free to bring them up!
