Tomura Shigaraki MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Tomura Shigaraki? Tomura Shigaraki is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sx/sp - 684 in Enneagram, RLUEI in Big 5, ILI in Socionics.

What's with all the INFP votes? While initially short-sighted and inexperienced, he has excellent Ti (just look at his problem-solving skills, or his ability to find logical inconsistencies or logical patterns in his environment) and no Fi at all; hell, he needed help from the PROTAGONIST of all people to find a cause because he has no motivation or values of his own other than what's been hammered into his head by All for One as a child. He has absolutely no sense of personal morality or principles either. When he asked Deku what the difference between Shigaraki himself and Stain (a Fi user) was, and Deku's reply was something along the lines of "well, Stain has principles that he follows and it's clear even if you disagree with them, but you don't have any principles at all", Shigaraki's takeaway was that All Might was at fault because Deku said that both he and Stain were inspired by him. He just can't understand the concept of actions motivated by personal values, so he attributes Stain's actions (and the societal idealization of them) to All Might rather than to Stain's own principles. Pure Ti-Fe reasoning. His volatile nature pre-development is typical of an off-balance INTP caught in a Fe-grip caused by childhood trauma and a very questionable upbringing, and made worse by his being a counterphobic 6w5 - he gets easily overwhelmed by emotions he doesn't understand. Immaturity and anger/emotional issues =/= Feeler, especially when trauma is involved. INTP 684

Biography

Tomura Shigaraki (死柄木 弔) is the leader of the League of Villains. He was initially arrogant, selfish, dependent and demanding, becoming angry if things didn't go his way and likening reality to a video game. Like a child, he was unable to cope with his own feelings. He would later learn to be more patient and self-controlled. Tomura is proud of the League, wanting to prove that his organization has the power to shake society and mocking those standing in his way. He doesn't tolerate others making light of the League's name, but can set his pride aside for the sake of his goals. Despite Tomura's general nihilism and disgust of life, there are a select number of people he cares for: he has a close relationship with his mentor All For One, is attached to his guardian Kurogiri, and though he mostly acts aloof towards the League, he views and treats them as comrades.
