What personality type is Choi Taek? Choi Taek is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sp/sx - 694 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.

Did anyone else pick up that his character was autistic? I really loved Park Bo Gum performance for him. There’s also so many instances where his cognitive functions are easy to pick out too. 📍The way he was able to tell how Jung Hwan felt about Deok Sun and immediately went against his own feelings in favor for group harmony even though he had been planning it for weeks. 📍He was also able to tell what was happening between his Dad and Sun-woo’s Mom even though he was barely ever home to see their interactions and even though his Dad was hesitant to tell him about it. 📍His future self telling Deok Sun that he knows more about her then she realizes. 📍His friends teaching him how curse, him apologizing when he’s scold for it, him questioning things until it makes sense towards his own logical framework. (Ni-Fe-Ti) 📍Also for his socionics: Ti-Ne The scene where he needs to read the Monopoly instructions even after being told not to and following the rules to a tea. His friends knew exactly what would happen after he read them he’s drawn to logical consistencies over moral consistencies. Plus Ti-Ne in socionics is great for Go game, it makes more sense for him over Fi-Ne, but Se Polr is obvious for him. ***Also I’ve read forums that have said that he was never intended to be the Main Lead but from the very beginning they laid out clues that it was actually him. When Sun-woo’s mom found the cigarettes in the first episode Sun-woo insisted that Jung Hwan didn’t smoke and would never smoke, and during the interview with Taek’s older character it shows him talking about smoking, Taek was the only one out of the friend group who smoked. There are a bunch of other clues throughout the show, but the biggest one didn’t even happen in the show, but in the original script. Jung Hwan was supposed to die in a plane crash, so it’d be impossible for him to have been the husband in the future. The flashbacks during his confession were supposed to play during his last minutes when he recounts his love for her and how he never told her those things before passing. Personally I think Taek was always the best option for her. They took care of each other and loved each without hesitation, and that’s the whole point of the show. Love happens gradually, it happens over and over again, it doesn’t hide, it doesn’t overthink, and as much as I loved Jung Hwan, he never really provided love the same way Taek did. Anyways this is my favorite show ever. I don’t think I’ll ever watch something I love this much. I rewatched it as soon as it finished because ahhhh, it’s perfect lol ❤️
