I'm really surprised that my Enneagram vote is a first here... Stephen Fry is obviously a type 9 in the Enneagram if there ever was one. He's such a polite and kind person that it almost borderlines on the ridiculous. Everything about the man screams "I don't really matter that much", even though everyone who's ever heard him talks of course knows that he really does matter and he has a lot to offer. A great example of this is the way he carried himself during the debate he did on political correctness together with Jordan Petersen, Michelle Goldberg and Michael Dyson. In a type of debate which almost always ends up being harsh and mean-spirited, Fry chooses to deliver a kind and warm - one hesitates to say almost loving - rebuttal - all the while, of course, being his usual intelligent, funny and charming self. Throughout, he stays graceful, loving and friendly, apart from one instance where one can see a flash of anger when he retorts: [paraphrasing] "Oh, come on, we've all seen the show trial [apology]: 'I have so much to learn about sexual politics, I'm really sorry', signed the lawyer, crossed out the name of the person."* Only to reverse later in the debate with: "I'm sorry it got a bit heated in places, 'cause I was hoping it wouldn't"†, even though he, of all the participants, acted incredibly and unusually respectful and humble throughout the debate. Another example is the BBC documentary he did on homosexuality in Uganda. In this documentary, he uses his usual intelligence, frustration, humour and teasing towards his opponents, but he never sacrifices any of his decency, even towards the people who deliberately and viciously attacks him and insults him. The fact of the matter is, Fry is simply one of the most unique and rare type combinations in the world: a humble ENTP. Stephen John Fry (born 24 August 1957) is an English comedian, actor, writer, presenter, and activist. With Hugh Laurie, he is half of the comic double act Fry and Laurie, who starred in A Bit of Fry & Laurie and Jeeves and Wooster.Fry's acting roles include a Golden Globe Award–nominated lead performance in the film Wilde, Melchett in the BBC television series Blackadder, the title character in the television series Kingdom, a recurring guest role as Dr Gordon Wyatt on the crime series Bones, and as Gordon Deitrich in the dystopian thriller V for Vendetta.
