Holy moly the Ni bias is strong on this site. I love how INFJ on here can have Elsa, Hitler and Itachi wildly different people. But God forbid an ISFJ not be some marshmallow Wholesome character 24/7 and have variety and complex emotions and If they do well then they must be an Ni seems to be their conclusion. And I haven’t seen any strong ENFJ arguments. Dimitri is an ISFJ from my perspective. He presents as one very much for the first half and I think post time skip he represents a good example of the Dark side of an ISFJ which is rare to see represented in media. Post time skip is what an ISFJ looks like If they are pushed to far and lose to much. It’s like people can’t except ISFJs aren’t a static stereotype. He’s obsessed with justice and doing what he thinks is the right thing. Super Man from Injustice is a good example of what an ISFJ can become when the people they love are taken from them. ISFJs are often labeled the “protecter” and get stereotyped as “Over protective Moms”. Which is fairly true. But just like if their child or lover is murdered an Over protective mother will have that sweet side vanish and that love turns to rage and hatred. Amp this up with typical Male testosterone and it can become quite violent like Superman in Injustice. There are several ISFJ media examples of this (I’m sure some will dispute this ISFJs but whatever it’s what there listed as on the site) Black Panther: In civil war after his dad gets killed he basically does what Dimitri does and goes in a revenge hunt but toward the end realizes it’s consuming him. Point is though that strong love can turn to rage when taken. I think people struggle to see it because In the majority of media ISFJs are normally not portrayed showing their darker side. You can claim his actions are just PTSD but as as Counselor and someone who has it myself I don’t buy that. Everyone responds to PTSD differently but many peoples PTSD doesn’t manifest into obsession and clingy to the past. Those are personality traits not PTSD. It’s his trauma that’s making him act with rage and hatred but trauma doesn’t force you to stay focused on it and the past or to even get revenge. Dimitri is often focused on the past like an ISFJ often is. Only now with the trauma he experienced right before and after the time skip now even more of his past is consumed with reasons to be angry. Many people with PTSD and trauma will be angry sure. But if future thinking like an ENFJ or INFJ I can see them more likely be focused on just stopping Edelgard from the get go and their vision for what to do after. But for most of Post time skip till closer toward the end Dimitri could give less than a **** about the future unless it’s about killing Edelgard which again is connected to his past. Sure everyone else is talking about what he should do but he kind of just ignores them and focuses on killing her. (I can’t remember when but I think at some point they actually have to convince him to keep going toward the Kingdom instead of just going straight to Edelgard) Part 2 in comments
