Naoki Irie is an ISTJ, because I don’t believe an INTJ would be confused about what to do in the future or have their future decisions swayed by others' opinions. Naoki’s anxiety and weakness in the face of uncertainty about the future are precisely the strengths of Kotoko, the ENFP. I have always believed that what truly moved Naoki was not what he described as Kotoko's "foolish persistence," but rather Kotoko's ability to never be daunted by uncertainty—her relentless drive to turn uncertainty into certainty. This is what touched Naoki. Because clearly, if their real-life situations were reversed, Naoki would not be capable of accomplishing anything Kotoko did. SI: Sensory perception depends on the influence of internal psychological factors and forms subjective psychological impressions of objective things to consolidate the existence of these psychological factors.
