What personality type is Şehzade Bayezid? Şehzade Bayezid is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - - in Enneagram, in Big 5, SEE in Socionics.

I think that Bayezid is sp/sx 4w3. Firstly, he had pretty typical 4-ish childhood: was always compared to one of his siblings (Selim), what created the feeling of need in competing to him, fought for parent's (Suleyman) love and approval, felt jealousy. A lot of jealousy. Jealousy was the main trait of Bayezid's personality, to be honest, though this might be not very obvious. Bayezid tended to belittle and exalt himself at the same time; he understood that Suleyman was disappointed about him and he was not dealing with all this stuff well enough, but instead of learning from mistakes and analyzing where he had slipped, Bayezid prefered to blame others in his failures: father for being too harsh to him, mother for not supporting him enough, Selim and Nurbanu for weaving intrigues (but let's be honest: the most of Bayezid's misfortunes happened only because of his naivety, irascibility and shortsightedness). All his actions were guided by his emotions, but still Bayezid thought that he was a victim. Passion Envy is so clear. Secondly, I cannot fail to mention that he was an idealist, this is why I think that he has 417 tritype (idealism triad) and not 487 (plus, Anger > Lust). Bayezid was a honorable man who valued justice and had his own understanding of good and evil; but it was exactly the one thing that destroyed him, cause he was just naive and guileless and couldn't have survived in the world of intrigues, lies and betrayals. Tbh I thought he might be sx4, but that's too much. However, description of sp4 fits Bayezid quite better. Self-preservation Fours, despite their Envy, still try to work to fill the gap of what they need to; and Bayezid was a fighter until the very end.
