What personality type is Theo Magath? Theo Magath is an ESTJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - so/sp - 612 in Enneagram, SCOEN in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.
Inferior Fi makes more sense to me than inferior Ne. A argument for inferior Fi: Magath has a problem with coming to term with his emotions and I don't want to spoil anything because we are going to see more of that in Season 4 Part 2, but to keep it simpel: Magath constantly represses and goes against his conscience. When he discusses his plan with Willy Tybur he hesitates to do the festival inside the Liberio Internment zone because he knows that a lot of innocent people are going to die, but despite that he still goes trough with it anyway. He has similar moments like that when suddenly gets very nice to the Warrior candidates, because he has been training them since they were young and has gotten close to them, but because he is so loyal to his homeland he still makes them go to war and put their lives on the line. Just because we see Magath sometimes being emotional doesn't mean in the slightest that his Fi is tertiary. People with inferior Fi aren't Sociopaths that have no moral conscience whatsoever, it's just that they repress emotion based values so they can get objectives met and that is EXACTLY what Magath does. A argument for tertiary Ne: People with dominant Si seek a form of order and structure. They also have a realistic outlook on their decisions and situations. Magath was disappointed with the Marleyan military for being to war mongering and imperialistic. So he literally just decided to get them all killed in a terrorist attack that he anticipated. The brass that died were colleagues that he worked with for years and when he saw a vague opportunity to make things better he took it. While they were going into a massive war with Paradis and him now having to make most of the decisions himself, because he was one of the last remaining high ranking members of the Marleyan Military. Not saying that ISTJs would never do this but Magath's decision was very opportunistic instead of realistic.
Biography
Theo Magath was the general of the Marleyan military, successor to General Calvi through the support of Willy Tybur and the governmental party of Marley. Formerly a commander of the Eldian Unit of the Marley army, and before one of the chief overseers of the first Warrior candidates during their training, he later led the Eldian Warriors in the Marley Mid-East War against the Mid-East Allied Forces, playing a key role in Marley's victory.
