Atsuko Chiba MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Atsuko Chiba? Atsuko Chiba is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - sp/sx - 153 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.

Chiba seems like an SI-NE axis user in her real life, and her alter ego (Paprika) is NE-SI being projected outwards in her Subconscious. Within structural stacking, this makes sense as her NE would be her Inferior function and would present as a gate to her Subconscious mind. Keep in mind Paprika doesn't need to be ENFP as the Unconscious mind doesn't actually have a type according to Carl Jung, the creator of the Cognitive Functions, but within this film, it makes sense since Chiba and Paprika are meant to be opposites of the same coin. Therefore because Chiba leads with SI, Paprika must lead with NE. If Chiba were an INTJ (which I doubt), we'd see Paprika as an SE user, which doesn't really reflect her character because of her abstract reasoning instead of her practical reasoning. She sees potentials and possibilities in her backgrounds and shape shifts to them. By default, the dream world is Metaphysical (Intuitive), so something like SE would struggle within that reality because it's tried to the physical world due to its perception axis. The main argument I've seen is that Paprika gets hunches. But that isn't exclusive to NI, just as pattern/symbolic recognition isn't exclusive to NE. Nor are these behaviours constant. To add to that thought, how would personality analysis that is dependent on structure from Dominant (most conscious) to Inferior (least conscious) then reflect on an already Subconscious/Unconscious character? As for Chiba, it's quite clear she has a very structured and ridged via her perspective of the physical world. She doesn't interpret very well; that's why she relies on Paprika to do so. Or else, like everyone else, she'd enter the dream as her own self instead of needing to rely on her Subconscious alter ego. We even get moments of herself being in the dream, and you can see a drastically different way of interpretation where she freezes up instead of invents like Paprika, Overall, Chiba and Paprika are two sides of the same coin. If you type one, then the other has to be the opposite because one is the conscious self vs the other the subconscious lesser-known self.
