A textbook ESTP teenager who is always ready to jump into action without any thought of the risks. Dominant Se suggests that he seeks stimulation from the real world, which comes off as impulsive when he changes into alien to fulfill his excitement or when facing danger ahead. It's not surprising that his attacks encounter hits and misses, and he still manages to stand right back up. He does not always change the alien he intends, although it does not impede him from fighting. While Ben does not always use Ti, this function comes in handy when strategizing ways to defeat the enemies and strategizing in the moment of action. His adaptability allows him to think on his feet, as he is fully engaged in the environment. Fe is his third function which he uses [the Omnitrix] when something serves useful to him, though his purpose is to save the people, especially to those he cares about, and defeat the enemies. However, he does not use this effectively, because sooner or later, he realizes the malicious true colors of the mortal enemies he found. This is true when he knows right from wrong. This leaves off with inferior Ni, which is his weakest, and you can pick up on this when he discards any signs that indicate any peculiarity in the environment or the Omnitrix. Thus, it takes him long enough to connect the dots of the events related to that sign. Thanks to his function, he could spot any recurring villains. The downside: this function may get him in trouble, especially when Gwen and Max do not initially believe in any of his observations. If Ben is an ESTP, then Gwen is an INFJ, due to the polarity that they always butt heads. Just a side note, but his zest for action due to his discovery of the Omnitrix, the getaway from the harsh reality of school expresses ESTP characteristics, despite he gets picked on by other kids. Not all ESTPs makes bullies, any extroverted type can, and this is not type related.
Biography
Benjamin Tennyson was once an ordinary, thrill seeking, and sometimes brash, ten year old boy. But after starting a cross summer country road trip with his grandpa Max and his cousin Gwen, Ben would find himself crossing paths with an alien meteor, leaving a mysterious watch like device known as the Omnitrix permanently attached to his left wrist. A powerful piece of alien technology, the Omnitrix allows Ben to select and transform into a library of alien lifeforms by merging his own DNA with that of the genetic samples of the aliens stored on the watch, giving Ben superhuman abilities. While often childish, Ben’s resourcefulness and tenacity to help others would lead him to conquer nearly impossible odds against the many forces of evil threatening Earth upon the arrival of the Omnitrix. #TaraStrong
