What personality type is Esdeath? Esdeath is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - sx/so - 836 in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
! This is mainly to explain why she's ENTJ rather than ESTP for the very few people that think she is ESTP, but also to explain how Esdeath's functions are. ! To me Esdeath is the perfect example of an unhealthy Te dom, like you said everything she does is to serve her impulses, herself and does not really care about anything else. The normal Te will care for their team, while the unhealthy Te can be very immature, selfish and impulsive. Keep in mind that mbti is something very deep. It's not only functions, it's also loops, healthy and unhealthy functions, well developed functions and under developed ones, and how the functions adjust themselves to the character's enneagram +. Her Te-Se loop is probably what causes you and probably some other people to not see her auxiliary Ni. Esdeath's Te-Se loop created itself after the events of her childhood, and then became unhealthy which affected the development of her introverted functions. ( When someone is in a loop for a too long, it becomes unhealthy because they will rely too much on some functions. ) And for her inferior Fi, she uses it very poorly, but it's there. I'll give you an "example" in the next paragraph. "Akame shouts “Human lives are not meant to be trampled on!” Esdeath shouts back “I cannot comprehend what you are saying!” Why would an ENTJ have difficulty grasping this concept? Fi inferior I presume? I imagine you could also argue that she was pretending to be ignorant, which is fine." That's what I think. A lot of ENTJs tend to use their unhealthy Te + Fi inferior to "mock" their enemies. Take Light, Azula and Kirari for example. Also, I'm curious on how ESTP voters think Esdeath uses Fe. I thought everyone clearly understood that Esdeath had an extreme lack of Fe, unhealthy or not. Her lack of understanding emotions is probably what caused her "downfall". And I'm also curious on how they think Ni is her inferior function when they all keep stating that Esdeath uses no Ni at all.
