Nana Osaki MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Nana Osaki? Nana Osaki is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sp/sx - 486 in Enneagram, RLUEN in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.

(1/2) “Say, Nana... You look like a stray cat, wild and proud. But I can see the wound in your heart. At the time I just thought it was cool. I never realized how hurt you were.” -Hachiko It has been brought to my attention that while Nana Osaki seems to be typed correctly in almost every system(except PY, whereas for some reason she is not typed VFEL despite having poor management of her own emotions and very strong pride and direction like the First Will), there seems to be a sudden rise in SX4 votes. While SX4 for Nana is completely strange to me, it is understandable to me at the same time. However, the bottom line is, SX4 for Nana is completely incorrect, and I will be expanding upon as to why this is. The character of Nana Osaki can be summed up as fiercely independent. As many seem to describe her, this persona seems to embody the traits of a lone wolf or a black cat. She will not bend or break her will, she will not become a housewife, and she will survive on her own without the assistance of anybody. She does not dare to cry in front of other people. Someone who is severely damaged and has endured a great deal while turning off assistance and support from others. She won't accompany Ren to Tokyo, she won't have Ren's child and settle down to be a housewife like Hachi, she won't let Ren support her(or anyone of that matter–she literally rejects Takumi’s money when he moved Hachi out of the apartment), and she won't tell Hachi that she needs her. "I don't need anyone other than myself" is literally embodied by Nana Osaki. Even in the manga, Nana forced herself into isolation as a coping mechanism for dealing with Ren's death. These two extreme types of excessive attachment are distinct from the E4’s personality style — the self-preservation subtype — that is neither melodramatic nor overtly competitive, just as there is a clear distinction between the aggressive and the shy versions of E4 (bad vs. sad). According to my description, it is "counter-dependent," similar to the counter-phobic version of E6 (in which fear is scarcely conscious). In these circumstances, envy is less obvious, and just as the aggressive form of E4 resembles E2 in its haughtiness, so does this counterdependent form E1 in its greater autonomy. In this case, **** demands are being reflected back on the self, and the person is acting more melodramatically than masochistically: she can endure immense suffering in order to earn love. In this instance, counterdependence is the central theme of Nana's story rather than competition and rivalry with others. Her desire to succeed independently is at the center of her entire story arc. Throughout the anime, Yasu himself expressed his lack of confidence in the band's ability to succeed but his belief that Nana can achieve great success in a solo professional singing career (and she did). She was, in fact, competitive. We may see how she recognized Reira's skill and made an effort to outperform her by quitting smoking, increasing her exercise routine, and other measures. However, unlike the SX4, this rivalry was a part of her self-growth so that she, alone, could succeed and outperform everyone. As a result, it is not the scourge of her character. She was possessive, yes, but that does not make her an SX dom, to reiterate. She refused to confess her love to Hachi, refuse to wed Ren, and even refuse to live with Ren. This character is completely preoccupied with herself, her job, and engulfed in her pride.
