What personality type is Orihime Inoue? Orihime Inoue is an ESFJ personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - so/sx - 962 in Enneagram, SLOAI in Big 5, in Socionics.
ESFJ is extremely obvious, and I don't understand where the INFP/ENFP votes are coming from. Fe doms value external/objective morality. Don't forget about her actions at the beginning of the arrancar arc. She saw that her friends were going to be hurt and completely self sacrificed in order to keep that harmony. She was willing to give up everything for the people she cared about. While fi users can be self sacrificing, they do it with an internal value, to do it to preserve their own morality, which was not at all her motive and it is very clear from the get-go. She lacks the internal value system that xxfp's have. She doesn't have a set guideline of morality that she tries for herself and others to abide by. This "value system" that she has is not unwavering and constantly adapts to the emotions of others, like any other high fe user. Urahara said that she had far too much empathy to go into battle. She did not even want to hurt enemies unless she had to. He acknowledged that both her literal abilities and her will/resolution were too weak for her to, if i'm remembering correctly, even enter the soul society. This overly kind personality of hers is even metaphorically represented by her powers. Out of the three, Koten Zanshun (her offense) is her least used and definitely is the weakest, speaking volumes about her extremely pacifistic nature. But its not just that she's 'weak', like how she's been dubbed to be- look at her defense powers. Santen Kesshun (defense) was pretty weak at first but it gets stronger through the development of the series, and her character, likely representing a strengthening of her will. And then we have Soten Kisshun (healing) which is by far her most op. It can literally reverse time, and she does this to heal others primarily. Not only is her personality fe, but her literal powers represent it as well. She, for a majority of her life, hid her feelings- like how she was bullied- from her brother & friends in order to keep the peace, she didn't want to burden anyone with her struggles so she kept it all under a overly positive, extroverted, bubbly mask which from a glance looks like ne dominant but in actuality, is a fe-ne loop. Ne, like I said, is also clear in her behaviors. Like her extreme positive outlook, and even her whole spiel to (sleeping) ichigo about how she wish there were 5 of her, so she could do what she wanted but also protect the people she cared about. So yes, she is 100% ESFJ and I don't think she has an ounce of fi.
Biography
Orihime Inoue is a Human living in Karakura Town. She is a former student of Karakura High School. She is one of Ichigo Kurosaki's best friends. Like many other friends, she quickly develops spiritual powers of her own after Ichigo becomes a Soul Reaper. She is married to Ichigo Kurosaki and has a son named Kazui Kurosaki.
