Personality

What personality type is Kisuke Urahara? Kisuke Urahara is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - sp/so - 592 in Enneagram, RCUAI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.

Perhaps I am biased as a fellow gifted person, and as an INFP who it practically an INTP half the time (and a 4w5) - but to me he is clearly a 5. First off, the obvious reason I consider this true: he is constantly learning, which is a typical thing for a five, and constantly planning in advance as if he was scared of being unprepared, of not having considered every single possibility. He's awkward and isolated, especially in TBTP, but still in the present, and neglects his physical state and environment in the pursuit of knowledge (when Soi Fon goes to his room and finds an absolute mess, and he says he was caught up in his research), which is also a typical 5 thing (look, I've been up all night, it's 7 a.m., and I've been readingreadingteadingreading. Like, I can literally skip meals if I'm not careful, although that might also just be my very probably ADHD doing that). He doubts his competency at being a captain and needs reassurance, which is a typical 5 thing as well (5s tend to fear they don't know how to deal with the world properly and overprepare, and yet that often doesn't lift the anxiety). If you take the paragraph about integration/disintegration from the enneagram institute website, you have this: "When moving in their Direction of Disintegration (stress), detached Fives suddenly become hyperactive and scattered at Seven. However, when moving in their Direction of Integration (growth), avaricious, detached Fives become more self-confident and decisive, like healthy Eights" When he's trying to deal with something while under stress (when he went looking for Hiyori for instance), he tends to act on impulse and in an unusually disorganized way, and when you see him at his peak as a Captain, he's more confident and makes decisions more easily instead of doubting himself at every corner. I don't really see how he would be trying to spread peace in himself and his environment - he doesn't avoid conflict all that much (instead of just leaving Hiyori like he should, he runs in when he could've just counted on her making it out safely on her own), and doesn't hesitate to be innovative in ways other people might very much disagree with (repurposing the people from the Maggots' Nest). Innovation and not turning away from issues that other people might find too ugly to look at is very much a 5 thing. I don't have much of an argument for the 4 or 6 in particular, but to me the 5 is extremely striking. Considering I've been trying to figure out why people have been choosing 9 and not understanding why for quite a while now, it'll probably be hard to convince me otherwise, but I'm open to hearing arguments
