are we sure that crona's not just a very stressed and unhealthy 9w1? when 9's are disintegrating (stressed), they display traits of unhealthy 6's. disintegrating 9's get anxious and worried, and start feeling that everything is "caving in". unhealthy (disintegrating ≠ unhealthy) 9's dissociate themself from all conflict, feeling they are unable to deal with any problem, they try to drown it out in hopes that it will "solve itself". feeling like they're trapped inside their head, they can possibly become numb to everything, and become very depersonalized. at their worst, they can completely lose themselves, and can even develop multiple personalities. disintegrating 6's show traits of unhealthy 3's when stressed. they become passive-aggressive, arrogant and competitive in an attempt to hide their stress. unhealthy 6's lash out and become panicky out of fear that they have lost their sense of security and start to feel inferior to those around them. they become dangerous by acting irrationally and unpredictably. at their worst, they become hysterical. crona does show a lot of traits of an unhealthy 6, but they don't show traits of a DISINTEGRATING 6. they do show traits of a disintegrating AND an unhealthy 9. we see them very unhealthy and stressed for the majority of the show, which is why most think they're a 6... but crona disintegrating into a 3 makes no sense. also, they do display traits of an INTEGRATING 9 very later on when they stand up for themself against medusa. so, i think that crona is just a very messed up 9w1.
Biography
Crona is Ragnarok's meister of intentionally unclear gender, and initially worked for Medusa. Crona is unusual for a meister because they and Ragnarok share the same body, which is a source of Squick for the heroes. Crona alternated between being homicidally insane and fearful when under Medusa, later showing a nicer side when at the DWMA.
