George Michael MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is George Michael? George Michael is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sx/so - 479 in Enneagram, RLUAI in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.

George is an ISFP. He uses his Fi often. Doing what he loves, which is music. He doesn’t really care for anything else. His music meant so much to him. Compared to Andrew (I wrote about him on his page if you want to check it out) he is a lot more alert and suspicious about people's intentions and what they want from him (Andrew also said he had a very small circle of friends) His gut would tell him whether to trust certain people or not. They had to prove that they were trustworthy. He was more reserved and shy, he would keep a lot of things to himself. His lyrics were a good example of it. His dad would tell him what to do and didn’t really believe in George. George kept what he thought about it to himself. “When you tried to tell me what to do, I just shut my mouth and smiled at you,” He was also very observant of his surroundings and thinks deeply about them. Andrew saying how he would as a child look at the smallest things with such curiosity. In his documentary, he visited his old town and he would remember the smallest things, the color of the wall, or how the day would go. His other friends didn’t remember and they clearly forgot about it but to George, they meant a lot. IxFP musicians tend to take their songwriting and lyrics a lot more seriously (Melanie Martinez, Michael Jackson, Prince, Kurt Cobain, and also George Michael) They want their music to feel authentic and real to them. George hated his biggest song which is Careless Whisper, “It disappoints me that you can write a lyric very flippantly—and not a particularly good lyric—and it can mean so much to so many people. That’s disillusioning for a writer,” and “I’m still a bit puzzled why it’s made such an impression on people, Is it because so many people have cheated on their partners? Is that why they connect with it? I have no idea, but it’s ironic that this song—which has come to define me in some way—should have been written right at the beginning of my career when I was still so young. I was only 17 and didn’t really know much about anything—and certainly nothing much about relationships.” He clearly felt deeply about his lyrics and it hurt that other people didn’t seem to have as much care for it as he did. Andrew being an ESFP didn’t look too deeply into his lyrics but he himself realized how much they meant to George. George thought low of himself, he was very insecure but when he really went out of his shell he started to enjoy his life more, enjoying the moment and not being so pessimistic. He would be very in tune with his body. Dancing easily and moving in a flowing way. He did what he wanted and what he loved. He dropped out of school to make his music with his best friend. Because that is what he genuinely loved. Both of them didn’t know if they were going to make it but they did it. George knew what he wanted and how he felt about things. Outfits, fashion, music, himself, lyrics, etc. When talking about his sexuality, Shirlie, a dancer for wham said “There was no outside person. Ever. And to this day I’ve never seen an outside person giving him advice in a way that he has gone up to someone saying ‘What do you think I should do about this situation?’” He thinks about his feelings by himself and how he feels he should do about it. Even when he told Andrew about his sexuality he was nervous because he didn't know how he would react (the same happened with me and my brother) even with people he is close with there is still some feeling of nervousness. It's very hard to trust people for ISFPs if they have had bad experiences with people. Though in the end, Andrew was pretty indifferent about it. He is a Fi user and I think he uses Se. He is all about music, dancing, feeling the sensation and experience. He felt his feelings very deeply and he knew what he wanted and no one could tell him otherwise. But please tell me if I'm wrong in my explanation or anything. George is so talented I love him.
