Rio Nakamura MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Rio Nakamura? Rio Nakamura is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - so/sp - 783 in Enneagram, SCUEI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.

Her character description is Textbook Fe-tert and sp7. She is considered a mischievous trickster who likes to tease her classmates and trick them with her intellect. She is literally karma in female. [Wiki entry: "A girl whose sleaziness can put even Class E’s perverted genie Taiga Okajima to shame, she also shows the keen intellect of someone known as a former child prodigy. At the same time, she also greatly enjoys teasing others, displaying a genius-level gift for it. She has a nose for finding people to mess with. Rio is also a friendly, energetic girl and somewhat of a trickster. Her favorite victim, along with Karma Akabane, is Nagisa Shiota. She's playful, has a dirty mind, and has been noted to be rather intelligent. She claims she was originally a serious person, something that would prove to be true when she disagreed with Nagisa's proposition to save Korosensei and continue to kill him. Despite her eccentric nature, she can see the bigger picture and hides how she feels, but she cares about Class E more than anyone. She also felt responsible for the bond between the class and Koro-sensei. On one hand, she can play the role of Class 3-E's resident mischief chick. On the other hand, when the situation calls for it she can be quite straightforward. Even Ryoma Terasaka started to wonder which between the two of them is the more outrageous kid in class."] [Fe-tert: "[...] Healthy ESTPs should have fairly strong use of their tertiary Fe, being able to utilize it as a strength. They may feel somewhat inadequate regarding their ability to read and empathize with others, yet this shouldn’t be an extreme insecurity for them. Of course, on the other hand, they may view themselves as completely competent in this area. They may also feel a heightened need to help or connect with others. However, less healthy ESTPs might also be prone to using Fe more mischievously (to argue, jest, or provoke conflict), or simply as a warning signal, telling the ESTP when it’s time to leave a situation that is slowly unraveling into disharmony. They may be the types that slip out before a situation gets too emotionally intense, or on the flip side, they may be right in the center of it all, egging it on. Tertiary Fe can cause this personality type to manipulate the emotions of those they are interacting with when they’re trying to get what they want or achieve a certain goal. They’ll also probably be more charismatic as a result of this function. In the negative, Fe desires validation from others. In the case of ESTPs, they will probably appear very confident, while secretly desiring that their actions or arguments be validated. While an Fi user wants to be agreed with, Fe users are more looking to have their arguments, viewpoints, or actions deemed valid, even if disagreed with. [...]"] [Sp7: - "[...] These Sevens are very practical, good at networking, and skilled at getting what they want and finding a good deal; they tend to be opportunistic, self-interested, pragmatic, calculating, and clever. They readily recognize opportunities for creating an advantage for themselves. In this way, Naranjo explains, gluttony expresses itself in the Self-Preservation Seven in an excessive concern with making a good deal at every opportunity. [...] Self-Preservation Sevens always have their nose to the wind for good opportunities. They find ways to get what they need and want, and they have an easy way of finding pathways to making things happen for themselves—whether it’s finding the right people, the most advantageous connections, or a fortuitous career opportunity. They have their ears to the ground and are socially adept. These Sevens make business connections and network easily because they are alert and mindful to the opportunities that come along that can support their survival. They hold the position that if you are not alert to opportunities, you will lose out. This Self-Preservation theme is expressed well in the proverb “The alligator that sleeps becomes a bag.” There’s an element of self-interest in the alliances the Self-Preservation Seven makes that may or may not be denied by (or unconscious in) someone with this subtype. Naranjo says there is a kind of reciprocal interest in these relationships, expressed in the idea that “I will serve thee, and thou will serve me.” On the low side of this kind of arrangement, an element of corruption can be present. Stylistically, Self-Preservation Sevens are cheerful and amiable, with traits that resemble a hedonistic, “playboy” or “playgirl” type. They tend to be warm, friendly, and talkative. (They love to talk.) They can express a kind of greed and impatience that reflects their desire to consume as many pleasurable experiences as possible; they want to eat everything. They expend a lot of energy on controlling everything, handling things without being noticed. And most of the time, they get away with getting what they want."]
