Alain Delon MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Alain Delon? Alain Delon is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - sx/so - in Enneagram, RCUEN in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.

The author Michelle Marly released a book not so long ago about Romy Schneider, Alain Delon’s love of the life, & her way to Paris where Alain plays a very important role. >In the book, Alain was described to be very rational, which Romy, a Fi-dom, had her own struggles with. He would tend to react impulsively, he wanted to take Romy on many adventures & wanted her to take risks in her life such as moving to Paris with him, even though she was a huge star in Austria & Germany, so it wasn’t easy for her to take that step. >Alain often struggled to show the affection that she needed from him which would explain the Fe inferior in him. He was also described to dislike anything that the society wanted him to be - modest. >If Alain really wanted to achieve something, he would not easily let go of it, he would just go for it. He also encouraged Romy to do the same when there was something she really wanted to do since she struggled to act upon it. >Even while they were together, Alain wasn’t shy to get in touch with other women & also told Romy to be open with other men if she’d like to, but these words rather hurt her & he didn’t fully understand why at first. His Fe developed throughout the years though & he wasn’t only Romy’s lover, but also her best friend who always took care of her. >Whenever Alain felt insecure about his acting skills, he would shut down & just stay silent for the whole time. He was really good at hiding his negative feelings. He always wanted to be in control of what he wanted to do & show the audience. >Around the time where Romy & Alain wanted to live on the county side during the mid 60s in a village called Tancrou (FR), Alain had a clear vision of how he wanted the house to look like & also wanted to build a tower right next to it, but he was short on money. Romy offered him money to built the tower, but he declined her offer because he himself said: “If I can’t build it with what I’ve earned, then I don’t want it. Forget it, Romy.” The author of the book knew Romy & her family personally, that’s why she was able to put Romy & Alain’s adventures down on paper. These are pretty much all of the reasons summarised as to why I think that Alain is an ISTP.
