Judging from music, lyrics and attitude (so no interviews etc) really strong ISxP street-smart vibes but he could not lie lol. But in the end I'd say ISFP. He's genuine (that is rare in the music industry) and he seems at times to feel guilty about being "superficial" maybe ("my ex says I'm lacking in depth"), like with the poppier Strokes side... this could sound 4w3 but no, because 4w3 are still 4s in the end and they would rarely accept to dilute themselves with a 3-like succesfull image. He must be a 9w8 or something because he gives me that lazy, cool, shut up vibe ("you talk way too muuuuuuch, you talk way too much"... sorry can't help it ahah) or some sort of well-integrated 6... 4w5 could complete the triad being 964 or something similar. "Drop your guard, you don't have to be smart all the time, I've got a mind full of blanks, I need to go somewhere new fast"... child Ni wannabe deep with Fi genuinity of character: I love this. From the start of his solo carreer you can see he tries really hard to be wise or woke, to feel like he's not shallow, that the Strokes were just a joke for teens etc... I'm not a big fan of his more "experimental" Voidz output, he can't accept it probably but he's nowhere as good with that as he is with writing catchy songs. I'm sorry Julian, that's your gift (and I envy you for that so don't lament lol!) but it's still adorable, like in Phrazes for the young (a beautiful album) how he's so spontaneus and innocent in his quest for something more that he's not... and also the effortless and very gutty critics to society in a pop yet conscious format, simple enough to understand even to a non-english speaker. Very human.
Biography
Julian Fernando Casablancas (born August 23, 1978) is an American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. He is best known as the lead singer and primary songwriter of rock band The Strokes. Casablancas released a solo album, Phrazes for the Young, in 2009. That same year, he founded the independent record label Cult Records, which has represented artists such as The Growlers, Rey Pila, and Karen O. Since 2013, he has been the frontman of experimental rock band The Voidz.
