What personality type is Ash Lynx? Ash Lynx is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sx/sp - 684 in Enneagram, RLOEI in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.
Imo he's the stereotypical ISTP with all functions clearly visible and hard to mistype, he's an independent thinker who makes cold, harsh and blunt judgements of the world based on his own internal logical framework, without any interest for sugarcoating anything in order to be liked and accepted by others like high Fe users have the tendency to do or sticking to some kind of internal morals like high Fi users would do, he has great Se, he notices everything about his surroundings in a realistic, unfiltered and practical way, opposite to the Ne kind of noticing things "this could be this and that and that and etc", basically he doesn't like overcomplicating things like your typical Ne user tends to do, and is very in tune with his senses and capable of a great body-mind coordination in fights and no, it's not just because of the training he received from Blanca, he's clearly gifted with a lot of kinesthetic intelligence as he proves many times especially when Arthur wants to shoot him after losing a fight with him but he manages to run to Arthur and cut his fingers before Arthur is capable of shooting him, that's definitely some crazy skill, he has decent Ni and actually decent Fe as well since he's good at leading his gang and knows very well how certain people would react to certain things, like when he knew Cain wouldn't allow his people to shoot him when he entered that bar because he had his gun pointed at Cain's head and he would've shot Cain before his men would've been able to shot him, in that whole entire scene he's basically using all of his cognitive functions at once, making accurate predictions most of the time, ig I could say all his functions are well developed, but because of his horrible life he obviously appears somewhat feelerish at times, like whenever he cries or acts intensely like when he sees Eiji for the last time in the hospital and is unable to catch his hand because he has to run from the police, but honestly, going through that kind of stuff he went through all his life would make most people cry, regardless of their mbti, but he definitely isn't a Fi user, or any kind of feeler, or INTP as about any of the high Ni users, I also think that's unlikely since he's a lot more action oriented than most NJs are, despite having a noticeable Ni, his Se is still higher, I also doubt any young feeler would've been able to go on like he did and keep on killing people without straight up going mad or ending their own lives out of guilt, even if it was, in most cases, only for self defense, such things haunt you especially if you guide your decision making process by morals of any kind as feelers usually do, however, that's not to say feelers can't do any harm or kill, or hurt others, but it's just that, besides the fact that they usually do so motivated by a moralistic sense of justice and what's right and what's wrong, you can't function that long as a highly moral and emotional person by constantly doing new crimes without having a safety moral net to justify them, most feelers do harm out of revenge or as a response to injustice that someone has done to themselves or to others and don't do it almost everyday or can bare to think they'd have to do so for the rest of their lives if they don't want to die, as Ash would've most likely had to do if he didn't die young.
Biography
Aslan Jade Callenreese, better known as Ash Lynx, is the protagonist of Banana Fish. Ash is given a sample of an unknown drug by a dying man and is targeted by Dino Golzine for what he is suspected to have. He is aided by Japanese journalist Eiji Okumura and his friend Shorter Wong in discovering the true nature of the mysterious substance.
