It's so inspirational how they portrayed the strengths and great qualities of an ESFJ! His undeveloped Ne and inferior Ti was very prevalent - His character had difficulty coming up with creative/original ideas through his own subjective logic as he stuck with trying to fit into societal standards (what everyone else was doing) and following instructions/rules. And though his Ne was more developed towards the end of the movie, the strengths of his dominant Fe were what really shined through and saved the day. His emphasis on working as a team rather than individually (all the characters like Batman and Unikitty had their own unique ideas but never collaborated), his willingness to help and understand others (ex: seeing behind Lucy's cool facade and encouraging her to be herself), and his ability to motivate others (his speech on being special for Lord Business that swayed him) : These Fe qualities were essentially what saved the day and proved Emmet to be a real hero. He wasn't special by being cool and dark like Batman or rainbows and sunshine like Unikitty, he was special by being his own ESFJ self.
Biography
Emmet (voiced by #ChrisPratt) is a very cheerful and good-natured construction worker who starts out as being overly conforming to the city he lives in, at least until he discovers what others calls "Piece of Resistance" and gets proclaimed as The Special, someone who is supposed to stop the tyranny of Lord Business. Despite his silly demeanor and lack of imagination, he has a knack for strategy and helping others work together.
