What personality type is Noelle Silva? Noelle Silva is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w2 - sp/so - 136 in Enneagram, RLOEN in Big 5, LSE in Socionics.
Noelle's cognitive processes seem very unbalanced, that's why she can appear like an ambivert. She both struggles with control vs chaos (her magical abilities) and self vs tribe (being recognized by her family). The bigger arc for her though is getting her magic under control and growing as a magic knight. She also has this Te-Fi switch when interacting with Asta vs. introspecting (her tsundere mode) so she's likely to have middle judging functions. This combines to the IxxJ temperatment. I don't think I have to explain her functions, aparently we all agree on Te-Fi and Si-Ne. I believe she overuses her Ne a bit, which is why she comes across as chaotic sometimes. She spends a lot of time with her magic, working on it and showing off, even if it's not ready yet. Her only way of doing this is the Fi-Ne -> Te-Ne pathway. She's still a Si dom though, as her Te-Fi switch usually manifests in her being stuck with her crush on Asta (Si-Fi) and covering it by remembering she's royality (Si-Te).
Biography
Noelle is a silver-haired royal from the prestigious House of Silva, as well as a member of the Black Bulls. Befitting her upbringing, she can come off as arrogant and cold at times as a defence mechanism due to her insecurities. However she grows to treat people equally and overcome her trauma to become a powerful Magic Knight. She eventually develops romantic feelings for Asta but is in denial about them. As the youngest daughter of the late Acier Silva — and sister to Nozel, Nebra, and Solid Silva — Noelle has incredible magical potential, with Noelle using Water Magic. Unfortunately for her, she lacks fine control, resulting in collateral damage and being mocked by her own family. As a result, Noelle has veered towards defensive magic, mostly protective bubbles. Eventually she gains enough confidence to develop offensive magic and veer towards being a strong attack mage, thanks to her squad offering support and care.
