I just saw someone on tiktok say “I fucking hate Kunikida. He’s the most anal character ever and he has no depth with a savior complex. On the other hand Dazai adjusts to his behavior” I had to stop it there bc I was about to throw my phone at the wall in disgust at how badly they misinterpreted his character and how apparent it was she never read the light novels or paid any attention to the azure apostle arc 💀💀💀 Kunikida deserves justice and he’s one of the best characters that goes extremely unappreciated just bc he’s strict and acts like a normal human and doesn’t have some crazy backstory. I hate when characters who are straight forward, principled, or moralistic get hate or told “they have no depth” just bc they aren’t hiding their true self or intentions under 6,900 layers of denial.
