What personality type is Mephiles the Dark? Mephiles the Dark is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sp/sx - 385 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, ILI in Socionics.
I'm more of the belief that Mephiles is sp/sx over so/sx. Yes, he tries to use manipulation to sway people into doing what he wants to further his goals, but he never targets multiple people at once, usually relying on a single target to further his agenda bit-by-bit. This alone would indicate sx, as he not only targets individual people, but also Iblis, but on the topic of Iblis, this is where I believe sp takes predominance in his instinctual variant. Mephiles' goal is to reunite with Iblis so that they can reform as Solaris, and he'll stop at nothing to reunite with Iblis. Being the brain of Solaris, he's instinctually driven to become one with his lost body, meaning he's driven by the need to keep himself alive. As such, sp/sx is indicative of his need to bring his true self back to life, whilst manipulating individual people to achieve such a means to an end.
Biography
Mephiles the Dark is one half of the sun god Solaris, representing its resentful mind and will. Upon being freed from the Scepter of Darkness, he copied Shadow's form and began to enact a plan to gather the Chaos Emeralds, merge with his other half Iblis to reform Solaris, and destroy all of reality. #CompleteMonster
