He is too open and comfortable with his feelings to be a ESTP. ''She walks in starlight of another world'' isn't exactly something I can imagine a ESTP saying. You could even confuse him for an intuitive, if it wasn't for his obvious portrayal of Se in the rest of the movies, talking about starlight and a red moon and all. And especially with his feelings for Tauriel, he never bothers to even try and hide them at all, not caring whether the others might make fun of him or not, or whether Tauriel could reject him. He is so true to himself and bluntly honest with his feelings. So either he‘s an ESFP with very good Fi, or an ISFP.
