What personality type is Hector? Hector is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - sx/sp - 946 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, IEI in Socionics.
This man's the kicked puppy of the show, gotta feel bad for the dude even if he's not a great person himself, he's surrounded by bad circumstances and just wanted to have some animal friends. His views on humans and vampires as animals and not as sentient creatures screams unhealthy Ti to me, especially in Season 3 while he continually bounces off Fe-dom Lenore and refuses to trust her (rightfully so, as proven later). He has an obvious Ne-Si axis for him, with the Ne proven with his thirst for knowledge and visceral interest in the vampire philosophy book that Lenore presents him. He has recurring memories of how he was cast out by society and made into the villain and seemed to be stuck on the idea that Dracula would've kept him doing the same thing over and over again, to Hector there would be a certain comfort to it, which is indicative of tert-Si. His weak Fe is obvious too, given how he fails to interact with the other vampires with any success and doesn't seem to be aware of the social implications of any of his actions. Season 3 ends how it does because he lets his Ti-guard down, and Fe-dom Lenore takes advantage of his weak Fe and puts him under her control. It's kind of sad, really, but he'll get to do what he loves doing...just not in the way he thought.
