What personality type is Sypha Belnades? Sypha Belnades is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - sp/sx - 621 in Enneagram, SLOAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.
I know people are now arguing in favor of ESFJ as opposed to ENFJ, but the only way I see her exhibiting Si is because of her upbringing as a speaker (since it's her job to remember the past and repeat it for future generations to maintain her people's history), not her personality. Ni-Se fits her so much more than Si-Ne. Tertiary Se (Like ENFJs have) completely suits her; she's very open to new experiences, and repeatedly mentions that she enjoys going on adventures with Trevor to new places and helping people (S2 E8) + takes joy in killing night creatures on a whim (S3 E1), and calls their travels "fun" (S3 E3) in spite of the danger. Tertiary functions are the functions we resort to when in need of a release (which is why function loops happen), and she takes enjoyment in exhibiting Se-like behavior. I think the best example of aux Ni she exhibits is in her breakdown of the differences between Alucard's coldness and Trevor's sadness (S2 E4). That was pure Fe-Ni; she uses her emotional intelligence (Fe) to accurately gauge the inner workings (Ni) of both Trevor and Alucard. Another example of aux Ni she exhibits is when she arrives at the conclusion that her people are "idiots" after realizing how useful storing information in books is as opposed to trying to memorize everything (S2 E5). She has no issue with questioning her people's traditions when she believes they are wrong, and follows her gut belief as opposed to what she is accustomed to in making this assessment.
