MBTI — Se-Ti-Fe-Ni —> Se-Ni: I feel that Sentinel Prime was primarily focused on maintaining a “direct relationship to the world via physical sensation”, having been “courageous” and “resilient”. — Yes, the flashbacks in Archa Seven during “Along Came a Spider” was a testament to Sentinel Prime’s flagrant recklessness, but nonetheless, he proved his strengths in being immediately adaptable in situations, such as holding off the arachnids to ensure the safety of Optimus Prime and Elita-1. —> Se-Ti: I feel that Sentinel Prime at least occasionally demonstrated his ability to use “skills and intelligence in positive ways”. — In “The Elite Guard”, despite his having been boastful about it, it’s hard for to me deny that Sentinel Prime harnessed his reasoning and skills in his career as a Guardsbot, such as keeping the Elite Guard prepared and equipped to navigate Earth. —> Ti-Fe: Sentinel Prime very likely struggled to “admit that” his “own poor judgment caused bad outcomes”, having been “unfair” and “condescending”. — Such was excruciatingly the case “Five Servos of Doom” as Sentinel Prime was dishonest and avoidant of the truth about his having employed the help of Lockdown in capturing the Decepticons, highly insecure over his ego. ENNEAGRAM — 3w4 so/sp —> Type 3: I feel that Sentinel Prime likely grappled with a “need to be validated”, which hid “a deep sense of shame and confusion about who” he really was. — Right from the get-go in “Transform and Roll Out”, Sentinel Prime grasped at any opportunity he could to put down Optimus Prime and make himself feel superior and valid, perhaps out of an insecure competitiveness of Optimus Prime being a contender to his reputation. —> Wing 4: I feel that Sentinel Prime focused his “energy” more so on “projects”, rather than “people”, having struggled to be “introspective”, going as far to “escape” the “pressure” through “workaholism”. — In the flashbacks of “Autoboot Camp”, Sentinel Prime (or Minor during that time), was shown to be vehemently and even narcissistically by-the-book in his position as a Guardsbot. —> so/sp: I feel that Sentinel Prime most likely derived his “‘value’” from demonstrating “‘excellence in the social sphere’”, having been “ambitious”. — In “Predacons Rising”, I could be reaching, but I almost wonder if Sentinel Prime’s repressed Sexual instinct came out in his vehement rejection of entertaining the possibility of Elita-1’s restoration in lieu of having learned of her mutation into Blackarachnia. Biography
Sentinel Prime is, plain and simple, a jerkass. He is an egotistical, boisterous bot who uses his high position to issue orders and command high respect, especially towards Optimus (despite sharing the same rank). Years back, the two and Elita-1 were best friends until an incident on a foreign organic planet, during which Elita was separated from them and assumed dead. Their relationship has been strained since.
