Se - Fast cars, sex, fighting, living in the present, alcohol, smoking, good food, gambling, travelling, deep diving, flying, making fast decisions in the moment. What’s not Se about him? He's able to do it all and he does it flawlessly. He easily adapts to his environment. What's more, he’s fun and playful. At the same time, he also enjoys more quiet moments when he’s presented with them, like enjoying a bath or taking it easy with his girlfriends. Ti - He uses his own mind and logic. He easily understands how new gadgets and vehicles work. He has knowledge in subjects such as chemistry. He's always calm, cool and collected. He solves problems he’s facing. Also, he doesn’t use Te: he’s often too late, doesn't stick to rules, etc. He’s a logical person in general. He almost never shows emotion, at least not deeper emotions. He’s never feeling insulted or whatever. He never laughs out loud, though he does smile quite often. This probably also has to do with him being an upper class British male in the 60s. With his enemies or people he needs to question, including with female enemies, he can be somewhat ruthless, even a bit sadistic. For instance, the way he killed Professor Dent: did he really need to shoot him twice rather than just arrest him, as Dent was already out of ammunition? Another example is his manhunt in the pre-title sequence of "Diamonds Are Forever". Fe - He’s rather kind actually, especially to his girlfriends. He's charming. That’s probably why so many villains share their plans with him when they shouldn’t. Also, he doesn’t use Fi: he doesn’t seem to have his own strong moral compass. Rather, he’s more of an antihero, typical for characters of the 60s. He sometimes lies to preserve the social harmony. Example: When Aki asks: ‘He wouldn’t touch that horrible girl. You wouldn't, would you?’ Bond replies: ‘Oh, heaven forbid.’ Whenever M reprimands him he just takes it and doesn’t really respond – rather typical for the Ti-Fe function combination. Of course, his Fe is also shown during his heroic moments, as is typical for xSTP protagonists, when he saves England, the world or damsels in distress and he actually does show a caring side for the women he saves. Ni - He's able to see the bigger picture and understand the plans of the villains. He is capable of making a plan further ahead, though he usually doesn’t rely on this. Also, he’s academically trained and likes to show off his knowledge. He sometimes quotes famous writers. He’s somewhat snobbish. A perfect example of his intuition and snobbishness and the fact that he didn’t listen to his intuition is the following quote: ‘Red whine with fish. Now, that should have told me something.’
