What personality type is Argenti? Argenti is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 3w2 - sx/so - 371 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.
❆ Is he so widely voted as 1F because "beauty"? Legit. I feel like PDB wouldn't recognize a VELF if it slapped them on the face. Despite the devotion towards beauty, it really isn't about physical beauty. Argenti loves and spreads beauty as a concept, almost an ideology. It's about metaphorical beauty first and foremost. Can't we recall how when we first meet him, he was trying to explain, discuss and enlighten a *plant* about the concept of beauty (which funnily enough may point to process Logic - AKA 2L/3L)? He comes across as a very self-assured individual. He's outwardly confident, bold, and despite his friendly and agreeable personality, he always comes across as if he owned the place - he barges in, takes everyone's attention, preaches about beauty and leaves. Argenti cares not if others do not even take him seriously with all of his ~ dramatic ~ theatrics, for he does everything with strong conviction. Speaking of theatrics even, the Knights of Beauty in general seem pretty 2E. They're dramatic, theatrical, reaction-seeking, flattering, etc. Argenti himself was casually flirting with March as soon as he met her? ❝𝐀 𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐲..? 𝐈 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. 𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫.❝ —↠ This is just one example; but it showcases very nicely how Argenti is in general. Flattering, theatrical, poetical - just very Beta NF EIE in general (but alas, not a Socion argument). Later on he's just doing the exact same thing... with the hallucination of a wubbaboo, complimenting it's "cuteness". He's a walking flatterer, which is core 2E-like. Alas, I think 1V+2E is decently obvious for him. But I don't think he can be 3F, for he is decently fearless regarding engaging in Physics. He invites the Trailblazer to a fight directly, endangers himself by putting forth his plan to rip the beast open by himself, and doesn't show any kind of neurotical processing you'd expect in 3F (though it could be subdued due to 1V, but alas, it should still be noticeable as a process attitude - but even his concept of beauty seems very Result-like). Anyhow. Physics for him seems to be absolutely Result-based (everything is just... "beauty") and even a tad bit out of touch with reality - other people have already mentioned how well he fits E7 (imo textbook Social Seven), for one. But I myself do think he's a clear-cut VELF.
