What personality type is Mariyam? Mariyam is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - so/sp - 613 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.
i thought i would give my initial thoughts on why i gave mariyam the typing i did? idk if anyone will look at this but here we go from what we see in the end-world normopathy video, mariyam has essentially been left resigned to their duty as an android and is attempting to accept her lifestyle as a machine created to help the world. this contrasts starkly with tamari's actions, since he rebels against fayrouz and is determined to prove they are capable of being human. moreover, as shown in GHOST's toyhouse for the characters, mariyam appears to be much more agreeable to fayrouz than tamari is, stating that fayrouz is often annoyed with tamari's antics. from this information and how mariyam swallows her feelings about tamari's absence, we can conclude that they are too dutiful for their own good. she believes that rebellion isn't the best option and is perplexed by tamari's actions, even though they also have inner qualms about the entire situation, so she stays put and endures it. at the end of the video, however, you can see even mariyam rebels against fayrouz's authority, driven by their strong feelings towards seeing her sibling again. her ambivalence towards authority and being accustomed to living a structured, mechanical life while still being able to uphold her ideals and rebel against fayrouz at the end is characteristic of a social six. she is not nearly as "out there" in her opinions and self-expression as tamari, who clearly has a second Ji function (Ti/Fi) deeply rooted in their personal opinions, so i think it's fair to conclude she's Si dominant. she prefers a structured perception of information and stability more than anything, which also ties into her being enneagram six. one of her dislikes on her toyhouse is even stated to be that she hates "being in a leadership position", once again showing the classic upholding of authority due to the passion of fear and need for security. they are willing to fulfill orders out of a "need," and it is harder for them to speak up. their tendency to try to get her work done in this manner is more SiTe, since i do not see any Fe motivation from her in the slightest: she seems to suppress her personal feelings that suddenly explode at the end of her music video. it's more indicative that Fi > Fe. for this reason, i think she is ISTJ and so6. 613 is a pretty classic tritype for a social six. LSI's characteristics of strong will and professionalism towards their work are also befitting, and Ti base is pretty good for her since she's definitely rational and fits Ti base's classic qualities: they are "habitual critic[s] of people or things that don’t follow a set of rules". i voted IT(S) in jungian for the same reason of her being a rational type, so it'd be IT > IS.
