What personality type is Rynn? Rynn is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sp/so - 479 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
why is she voted as a sexual 4? i don’t see even an ounce of sexual 4 in her, but i think self preservation 4 fits her pretty well. sexual 4 : “In the Sexual Four subtype, the inner motivation is envy, and its manifestation as competition. These Fours don't feel consciously envious so much as they feel competitive as a way of muting the pain associated with envy. If they can compete against another person they perceive as having more than they do and win, they can feel better about themselves.” when was she ever competitive? when did she ever feel the need to be superior and win against others? she doesn’t seek freedom so she can feel superior or feel better about herself, she does this for herself and herself only. self preservation 4 : “Envy is less apparent in the Self-Preservation Four because instead of dwelling in and expressing envy, this Four works hard to get what others have that he or she lacks. Instead of hanging out in their longing in a way that prevents them from taking action, they strive to get “those distant things” that give them the feeling of being able to obtain that which was lost. Whatever they get, however, never feels like enough.” this fits her way better than sexual 4, she tries to get what she doesn’t have : freedom. she wants to fulfill an envy she has towards those with ordinary lives by trying to get what she lacks. 8 > 9 in her tritype. fixes matter so much and i just don’t feel like she matches the 4-9 fix all that much but more of the 4-8 fix. 4-9 : “Withdrawn, compassionate, feeling invisible or insignificant, may feel comfortable in self erasure. Likely to veer towards Zen kind of art, minimalist designs and muted hues.” this isnt very her. she doesn’t suffer in terms of self worth or not knowing who she is. her surroundings doesn’t let her be who she is, and so she takes action towards her own freedom rather than letting herself “be erased” like a 9 would. 4-8 : “Reactive/ combative, authentic, prizes novelty, prides themselves on staying real, amplifies emotions externally, takes no crap from anybody, extremely intense persona. Tastes in art may range from starkly realistic, gritty and honest portrayals to ones with an animalistic beauty.” this matches her better since she takes control of her current situation and surroundings by leaving. she does her best to not let herself be controlled by others. egocentric > accommodating people may confuse accommodating as being nice which isn’t what it is at all. rynn is of course sweet, but she acts more of how she feels and what she values at the moment (which could also be her Fi). she doesn’t accommodate much and doesn’t seem that sensitive to others all that much until gugu at the end but as a person overall, she’s more egocentric than accommodating
