Gugu MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Gugu? Gugu is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - sx/sp - 648 in Enneagram, SLUAN in Big 5, LSE in Socionics.
Here’s my take. It’s a character analysis so I’ll spoil up to ep 12 (don’t know the chapter equivalent sorry) this is structured as part 1 (applying his functions to him) and part 2 (why I got to ESFP) you may read just one, or both. I also hate redundant walls of text so it’s fine I won’t be offended. First off lets keep in mind that we meet Gugu as a child, and then we see him as a teenager. So I’ll assume we have the chance to see his dom and aux in action, his tert beginning to develop, and his inf either misused or very, very, undeveloped. ———- PART 1 applying SeFiTeNi -——— He is really in touch with the environment around him even as a child, he takes objective data from the outside, and interprets it with his worldview using his aux Fi. Which can result in some lack of empathy (his jealousy/initial interactions with Fushi) or what I can best describe as him obsessing over how his life is unfair (I mean IT IS but he is very fixated on it). This issue fixes itself as we see him mature, as it should happen with a maturing SeFi user. He definitely uses Te > Ti, he is practical and goal oriented. Which we can see him use at his best when he’s older, or when he goes to save Fushi from the Nokker (the beginning of his development). I should also plug here his SeTe loop, when he forgoes his own self to save what (or who) he loves. I’m not that great at interpreting inf functions yet, but imo he misuses his Ni as a child when he creates completely wrong ideas of others (idolizing his brother, idolizing Rynn even) and how he closes in himself in times of pain. ——PART 2 how other types don’t work—— I came to this conclusion because: - He isn’t an intuitor, as he doesn’t really tend to read into situations or “brainstorm” (not saying sensors can’t do that, just that it’s definitely not his first approach to things, which is very easy to spot if we’re typing children / younger ppl who mainly use the top two functions) -He DEFINITELY uses Te>Ti (explained above), but he is not a Te dom at all, as he would act with more order and logic from the start. This would leave ISFP and ESFP as options. Again, we only see him when he’s young (fly high bestie) and his Te is way too developed at that age to be an ISFP, and he misuses his Ni just like an inf Ni user would (again, explained above) And for Fi vs Se dom, imo we see him TAKE objective info from the outside and THEN apply it to his own experience, rather than living by his Fi rules and applying that to how he perceives the outside. ———————————————————— So there you go, that was my daily thesis for you let me know if I was completely wrong and should shame my NiFe to hell and back or if I can still call myself an INFJ without people coming at me for being a mistype lmao
